oh, i forgot to mention:

they purposely ignore appeals for macroing and botting bans

Tweeting mods is a well known method of appealing against an unfair ban

while i wouldn't say it's well known, it is a method.

I've had luck with the appeals system.

Or you could try mailing them a nice, tight, anthrax-coated explanation letter.

Ah yes, im new to RuneScape sort of. I made an account in like 2012 but left it and didnt use it alot. I tried the new runescape but meh.
