I purchased Dragon Age: Inquisition for Xbox One the other day.
I've only played a little bit so far, but it's been really good. My brother has left now, and my younger brother isn't at home much, so I've got more access to Xboxes and good TVs/seats, so I can properly play.

I've also got Assassin's Creed: Unity on Xbox One, which was a christmas present.
I've played a little so far, and it's been good too. No glitches as of yet.
The tie-in with the Unity App though is annoying though. I installed it on my laptop but it won't seem to recognise me playing it on my Xbox, and just insists that I'm not currently playing the game on my PC.

So, I don't know if I have to install the app on a tablet instead in order to let it recognise the game being played on a console.

Some random thoughts:

It's a shame Xbox 360 users cannot see what Xbox One users are playing, as all it says is 'SirDooble is playing Xbox One', and sometimes I get curious :s

I got Lego Movie: Videogame and Forza Horizon 2 for Christmas!

Also, I wonder what January's GwG will be.

I need to renew my Xbox Live soon :(

has anything changed from the xbox 360 to the xbox one, i haven't done any console gaming since the 360 was in its prime

strange, I was just playing GTA online not a few hours ago.

Yeah, it is rather annoying that. I couldn't see what my Xbox One friends were up to either when I was still on my 360.

If it was today you were wondering about though, I was playing Assassin's Creed Unity and then Dragon Age: Inquisition!

I don't think I mentioned the games my family got for Christmas.

My dad got Forza Horizon 2.
My older brother got Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.
My younger brother got Farcry 4.

I've played a little Forza so far, but I had already played the demo. CoD has gone back to uni with my brother. And I'm not really interested in Farcry 4.

Depends what you're questioning.

There's now the following;
-A Metro style home screen.
-A readily available Gamerscore Leaderboard, showing who of you and your friends has earnt the most -Gamerscore in the last 30 days (I'm currently winning on mine with close to 3k).
-Improved Kinect speech recognition.
-Split-screening different apps over your current app, for simultaneous usage. This in many ways replaces the Xbox Guide. For example, I can now play a game and split-screen (roughly a 9/10 - 1/10 split) to bring up Internet Explorer, or Live TV, or my Achievements (For achievements this can be a bit annoying, since achievements only exist as an App, and therefore take longer to load up than they did on the Xbox Guide)
- Pins for your favourite apps/games
- Achievements come with unique wallpapers which you can use to decorate your homescreen.
- Users now have their own personal homepage, which your friends can get to. On it they will see your recent activity, such as Recorded Game Clips, recent Achievements, games played, etc. Furthermore you can set up a large showcase showing your favourite achievements in order to show off. Your friends can comment on individual items or "like" them.
- Game Clips can be recorded by Kinect voice command or by a quick button press from the Xbox button, allowing you to record events you just did. Furthermore, certain games will automatically record things it deems special. For example, Zoo Tycoon records any animal-interactions, and GTA 5 records several things, like headshots, car barrel rolls, blowing up helicopters, or driving at speed for lengths of time without hitting any obstacles or vehicles.
- Game Clips can be easily edited (I've not explored this however) and can be shared with friends (I believe through social media), and I also think you can upload them to YouTube.
- Live Broadcasts to TwitchTV can be set up from inside the Xbox with ease. (There are often broadcasts of games that are shown when you visit a game in the Xbox Marketplace, which can be nice for checking a game out before you buy).
- The homescreen can be reached by simply pressing the Xbox button (formerly Xbox Guide button). It will rapidly take you back to the homescreen, but keep open your previous app(s), so you can seamlessly return to them.
- Xbox Live subscriptions can be shared between users, including those not on the same console. No need to purchase a second subscription.
- Games on discs install a lot of their files on your harddrive, thereby speeding up the time it takes for them to load (this is very noticable).
- Savegames automatically save to online cloud storage, meaning you can simply load your profile on another Xbox and continue playing from your last point in a game. No need to transfer files on memory sticks.
- Xbox Live Gold members recieve 2 free games a month, plus bonus deals. One of the available free games changes every 15-16 days.

Unfortunately A LOT of tools on the Xbox One require an internet connection. This includes things such as seeing your achievements or your friends list, or even your pins. It can be very annoying should your internet connection drop for whatever reasons.
It was also the reason why the Lizard squad attack on Christmas Day was so annoying, because the large majority of Xbox setup requires an internet connection, and people with new Xbox Ones for christmas couldn't set them up.
It also means that should your internet drop out and you're on a downloaded game it can be very quick to quit you out of the game without warning, and it may or may not save your last point.

Furthermore, there's an issue with the Kinect, whereby you can set it up to recognise you when you enter the room and automatically sign you in. This is good in practice, but multiple people can be signed in without multiple controllers.
On certain games you may automatically be quit from the game should a second profile log in. This happened to me the other day, playing Contrast. My younger brother entered to see what I was doing, and he was signed in when he sat in front of the Kinect, and suddenly I was ejected from the game. :/

There's probably a lot more I can't recall or haven't discovered. This is just off the top of my head
I think there are an awful lot of improvements, but there are also parts that are just very annoying. It's absolute reliance on an internet connection is perhaps the most annoying aspect.

If it was today you were wondering about though, I was playing Assassin's Creed Unity and then Dragon Age: Inquisition!
Cool :)
