Oh, there's a really nice server being hosted by a friend of mine from back when I played Shores of Hazeron.

It's at starmade.division-32.com:4242

It seems to get consistent visitors, has 10k-size sectors, and is hosted on a dedicated server computer.

I'm gonna play on it regularly, so I hope you guys will join.

how many players does it get on average

did you make sure you have the StarMade folder and the launcher in the same directory?
Yeah, and even with the latest launcher it still gives that error message.

Sorry for the late reply...

Have weapon ranges been modified for the increased server size?

I'm trying to download this game but, when I run the starter, it gives this error message

Did I do something wrong or?
redownload the launcher

What would be a good number to set the multiplier to?

Doubling or even tripling the range would be sufficient

Okay, I'll tell the host that when I get the chance.

Also, Planr, I'll get back to you on the average players for the server next time I talk to the host.

When the server is at its peak, it gets around 5-15 players, but on average, between 0 and 5 players.

Anyway, there were some updates or something today i dunno.......

Bump because of reasons.

If you were to ask someone "What's a Star Tourist?", they would give you a look of great confusion. Built in 2873 AD under the United Empire of Sol (2081 AD - 3994 AD), the Star Tourist shouldn't even exist anymore. It's reason of construction was simple: create a mid-level vessel that could propel themselves into the unknown darkness of space; and then some. According to ancient records, the ship was one of the major reasons man thrived in space, having discovered over 400,000 habitable planets, and 595 new species of life. Though it can't dish out any firepower or take any back, it's noted that it can outrun almost any known ship in the currently known galaxy.

EDIT: Yes, I admit that the Space Shuttle influenced this a lot. It just looked right for an early human ship.

i think a ship's directional thrust should be directly influenced by the amount of directional thruster blocks  :cookieMonster:
