he didnt even say it was bad, just that people don't like it because its slow
Tbh I am not looking forward to the new smash.
I was before I saw actual game footage.
It looks like it's gonna need a "Project U (Temporary Name)"
(not in the thread, but you get the point)
It' a good thing the new smash takes 0 skill
pacman is literally the last character I wanted to see in smash.
inb4 nintendo of america's twitter got hacked
All that guy does is whine. It''s relatively recent, too.
None of the discovered strategies are an attempt to "recreate" Melee by any means. Players are just trying to find quirks about the game that may help them improve their play. This would happen for any Smash game. Has nothing to do with Melee.
Didn't the guys over at eventhubs implicitly state that pivoting is there to recreate melee in one of their videos?
Bullstuff. It's like you're saying "Stop playing smash 4 if you don't play like me".
Can you read? I was referring to the people who whine about how smash sucks and stuff blah blah blah instead of the strategies they make up.
They also left glide tossing in Smash 4 on purpose. It was in brawl as well.
What? It can't possibly just be a glitch that they overlooked?
If you're so opposed to competitive players, then why the forget do you care? Let people play what they want how they want.
I couldn't care less about the strategies now that I think about it. The people like Ticonderoga and ultimamax who moan about smash 4
in the loving thread/forum that's dedicated to it need to get out/make their own thread to circlejerk in.
Oh yeah here's more evidence:
I don't think it's worth it at all. I'm not a huge fan of the physics system of Brawl/SSB4 and there's nothing to do but unlock everything and play multiplayer really. If you have lots of friends or you go to conventions a lot, 3DS is definitely the most convenient multiplayer smash game though. Personally I would wait until the Wii U version, at least that will have more content, Gamecube controllers, and more modes.
No need to get so defensive. It's just personal preference. If you want an explanation, it's because you fall much slower, run speed is lowered overall, quick movement is hindered, games last much longer, it was super unbalanced, tripping happens randomly, they removed L-cancelling (which isn't a glitch, but an intended feature) and the system inherently favors defensive play over aggressive play.
The same community that makes a whole bunch of strategies can't handle a slight decrease in speed. lol.
