practice drawing on paper. pencils and paper are cheap! when you get better and eventually decide you want to start taking it more seriously, then you start spending more money on it

hot damn.

what fox said.
plus, and ik this is easier said than done, but just accept the first few drawings aren't gonna be to your liking. mentality is just as important as technical skill, and in the beginning, quantity is more important than quality (for the most part). make a whole bunch of stuffty drawings, get used to things, and you'll find naturally, with time, that you're getting better.

its oft repeated advice, but for a reason -- practice, practice, practice. now of course, repetition is only one part of the puzzle, you still need some book learnins. but that's really no big deal. the internet has more than enough free material for any artist to pick up.

but in the end, you don't get better by thinking, you get better by doing! also, like, hmu if you wanna chat

hot damn.

i would've still been drawing stick men if i didn't experiment with drawing
like the others said, practice makes perfect. it really does make you better if you practice for a long enough time. hell, we're practicing right now by drawing these pictures.

hope you enjoyed your stay on page 88, home of the sunhat.
