The Avalonians are permitted to travel to Vålderesk with an Erinamese translator.
Upon their arrival in the city, the Avalonian diplomats are duly impressed with Erinamese architecture.  (I'm just going to do this, if it's not how it would happen, that's fine)  The senior diplomat appears before the Erinamese Emperor and without speaking a word, merely bowing to acknowledge the honor of the Emperor, passes the sealed letter off to him.  It reads:

"Avalonia has heard much of your lands from many sources:  from refugees, from traders, from leaders.  But it is unlikely that His Honor has heard of Avalonia, despite its size and wealth.  Avalonia wishes to trade both materials and cultural items from across the known world.  There is one caveat: long ago, a ship approached Avalonian soil; this ship contained refugees from the slaughter of the Belanese.  If this slaughter is a thing of the past, and harmony has been reached, Avalonia will engage in trade and communication with His Honor's permission.  If the slaughter has been a constant event, you are warned: Avalonia houses the descendants of these refugees, harass them and you harass Avalonia, but Avalonia will stick to its shores and leave the Empire of Erinaum be."

The diplomat silently awaits a response from the Emperor.

Southbound explorers on ships discover the north coast of Avalonia.

The council reviews the trading between their partners. No discrepancies.

The Emperor remains seated on his throne and sighs at the end of the diplomat's speech and pauses for a few moments.  All is silent in the throne room except for the Emperor's fingers tapping at the right side of the throne.  He then sits up and clears his throat.

"The Bēlänese are, as our gods and our mythological origins dictate, our enemy.  The Tsekēnese, likewise to the Zēnians, are also enemies.  However, our philosophies dictate that temperament must be kept between the races of Ezbátu.  We cannot live without each other," the sovereign says with a bit of trouble in his voice.  "As things rest now, Ezbátu rests under our wings, safe from invasion, provided for as a nation under our care.". He pauses.  " The Bēlänese are not at war with us, and while we share a mutual enmity, we are at rest from each other."

The smell of incense fills the room.  Birds can be heard in the gardens outside, along with the sounds of the city Vålderesk far in the distance.  An attendant brings forth a platter of dumplings for the Emperor as he waits for a response from the diplomat.  After the Emperor takes two dumplings for himself, he motions for the attendant to offer a dumpling to the diplomat.  She holds out the platter with five dumplings on it.

Oh btw it's 190 BC now.  By the time this is read, it's likely 175 BC.

With the surprise siege that was attempted, with Aspian forces successfully docking and wreaking havoc, moving towards the city before they clashed together before they were simply destroyed ruthlessly, though there was plentiful casualities on both sides, though most of the casualties on Albitonic sides were collateral damage caused by Aspian ruthlessness, as well as some destruction to the buildings and all that, but that's a given in any siege, be it a failed attempt or a successful one.

After the many years, (in fact two centuries) of fighting between the two, Albitonic forces have pushed enough that most of the split up Aspian forces either were defeated, or actually defected to their side; claiming that they want to fight for the side that's winning. With this in mind, this leaves the capitol clear to walk up to and besiege.

The Diplomat nods politely and accepts the dumpling and eats it.  When he is finished he speaks for the first time to the Emperor:
"This is well.  With the blessing of His Honor, trade shall commence and our two nations shall coexist peacefully.  Your own lands and peoples seem honorable enough for this end, as I trust Avalonia does."

Following this, he deposits a small chest of gold Cesk by the foot of the Emperor's throne and leaves when given permission.  Avalonia's settlements on the shores around where Erinaum is (two of them, not too far off from the puppet coastal city state) are given additional resources to build storehouses and other things like walls and such.

Following the arrival of news regarding Erinaum in Avalonia, ships begin to make the journey Eastward to trade in that area.  Some attempt to stop at Plexia, but find it in turmoil.  This is displeasing as Plexia trades with Avalonia and is a good market.  Secret correspondence is opened up with the Plexian government offering aid of some sort (we can't loose both Calzone and Plexia).

The urban landscape of Nazgar has once again become too large for the city's outer walls.  New quarries are dug, and construction on another layer of fortifications begins.  The new wall is to be quite substantial and have bastions where ballista or catapults may be placed.  There is also to be another moat, and any moats farther toward the city's center are to be drained and filled.  The cityscape has come to encompass some older quarries and empty mines, and some clever masons have been commissioned with building columns and vaults so that the space can be used at ground level and underneath; these existing underground structures will be expanded so that citizens may flee to a safer place in times of war, or store things like food or weapons.

did like, swat one pull a comcast on me.

Can you tell me about my attackers' military?  I wanna know if Plexia stands a chance fighting it
Oh shoot.  Sorry.  If you feel you are suffering from pageloss, please quote it.

They're mainly naval warriors and those who can stage amphibious invasions well.  They conduct poorly on land in combat, but are good at seiging cities.  Their military is very advanced as far as tactics in their expert areas, but is small with no cavalry.  Their civilization is on the north-facing peninsula that looks like Scotland on the west coast of Rivus Minor.

A considerable number of unmarked ships, that avoided the albitonic coast, find themselves docking on the Aspian coast near the capitol. Spooky.

knew it
putting a strike through it doesnt make you less of an starfish

As one of the albitonic forces begins their march over towards the capitol, the sound of hooves faintly sounds from behind them. Galaumian riders ride up behind them, attempting to kill as many possible before rounding away and encircling back around as spear infantry rush in to occupy any dead spaces, allowing the cavalry to ride around and pick at their forces significantly as the spear infantry stabs away and kills any possible. Anti-cavalry spearmen are also present, attempting to disable any enemy calvary forces they encounter.

if anyone wants to know what the unmarked ships are, your answer
;)
