The round hits the ammunition holder for the tank, and it and all of the ammunition inside explode, killing the tank's crew and leaving it a pile of wreckage.

Iwan closes the hatch and looks through the commanders port, "Gunner, load HEAT and standby. Driver, take us into the Chevron."
Roller shuts the hatch, peering through the small view port and rolling the tank into the chevron.

"...large numbers of enemy infantry charging... I'd load HE rounds..."

"Loading HEAT!" I say as I select a high explosive anti-tank round and push it into the chamber, enjoying the clink the comes with loading the round. "HEAT loaded! Standing by." I say before noticing large numbers of infantry approaching the Tiger's position... "Sir, want me to switch out the HEAT with a HE and fire at the infantry?"

"Inf- Infantry charge! Gunner, load HE, I'll check the coaxial, radioman, request infantry support and get firing!"

I load the coaxial MG42, it cycles perfectly.

"Driver, get ready to back up if we have to!"

"Don't worry, I got them!" I say, as I fire my machine gun into the middle of the infantry charge.

Guys

If you're a crew member in one tank

You can't hear the crew intercom of another tank

I pick the spent casing out of the brass catcher and stow it away, swapping it for a fresh cartridge. A small grunt escapes my lips as I shove the HE round through the breech. Plunk!

"HE round loaded!"

Back on the gunner's seat, I start aiming for the bulk of the infantry charge. "Firing!" The Kwk 40 is sent slamming backward as another projectile is sent downrange. I press down on the foot pedal and fire several bursts from the coaxial gun at the approaching enemies.

The hordes draw closer, seemingly unphased.

"RTO, tell our unit to start backing up, I'm not keen on getting overrun today!"

"Driver, start backing us up!"

I look at the MP-40 further down in the turret well before turning back to the periscopes. The Charlie and Dog tanks begin firing. The infantry becomes more hesitant seems and break for cover, but it would still be wise to deter AT weapons with some range.

I jam the tank into gear and push us back at full speed. The tank's engine roars as I pull it back.

I begin firing the coaxial gun, mainly for suppressing fire, at the infantry. A shell nearly misses our tank and hits the abandoned house behind us. It came somewhere to our left.

"Contact! Someone spot him! I think it came from our left!" I say as I furiously swing the turret to the left, looking through the sights to try to find the tank.

"...stuffstuffstuffstuff..."
A shot ricochets off of our armor.

Peter calmly sits there, ignoring the rounds glancing off the hull of the tank. He stares at the radio.

PANG

A Porlaq AT rifle shot bounces off the armor.

"AT rifle left two hundred meters! Driver, hold!"

I spot the tank, no thanks to my mates, and fire, my calculations and mental projectory aiming at the midsection between the turret and the chassis.
