It's been banned from the beginning. Even back when people were talking about Zoe Quinn the moderators were deleting posts.
Because most of them had to do with witch-hunts and incredibly unpleasant behavior full of vitriol? It's not like that's banned in the rules or anything.
stuff, the witch-hunting even got so bad that 4chan banned gamergate discussion.
before people say zoe quinn has nothing to do with gaming, she took down a game jam dedicated to women.

it's anita and zoe's fault for even bringing feminism into the topic in the first place, but its most definitely not an argument about social justice. like everything i see on twitter has to do with video games or anti-gamergaters who happen to all be feminists
If this thread is any good example none of the posts since November 19th have mentioned video game mechanics, plot, or production in any way, shape, or form. Which is what r/games is only supposed to be about, incidentally.
