nah it's become nearly exclusively an argument over feminism and sjw and not specifically video games. because it causes so much unwarranted drama on both sides it's banned from r/games (for both not having anything to do with video games themselves and for going against the relatively civilized attitude of the subreddit),

It's been banned from the beginning. Even back when people were talking about Zoe Quinn the moderators were deleting posts.

it's anita and zoe's fault for even bringing feminism into the topic in the first place, but its most definitely not an argument about social justice. like everything i see on twitter has to do with video games or anti-gamergaters who happen to all be feminists

If this thread is any good example none of the posts since November 19th have mentioned video game mechanics, plot, or production in any way, shape, or form. Which is what r/games is only supposed to be about, incidentally.

because this is a loving gamergate thread. gamergate is about the controversy in gaming media, and the efforts to fix corruption in said media/journalism. apparently for it to be about video games it has to meet a quota of how many posts are about "video game mechanics, plot, or production."
