The Bequelans are interested in the foreigners, and ask what it is to offer, though in a demeaning manner to the Galaumians.
The Galaumians tell the Bequelans to watch their tongue and tone. We offer gold.

Well, I tried for diplomacy.  Avalonian troops land in the North of the Bequelans territory in large numbers with most troops on horseback.

Avalonia has seen for a long time that any attempt to keep lands taken by force from the Bequelans will be futile.  As a result, Avalonia's fighting style is more in line with raiding than with conquest, with storehouses, troves, and granaries being targeted primarily.  Military targets receive quite a beating as well, and Avalonian cavalry run down Bequelan soldiers in droves.  As to civilian resistance, the Avalonian soldiers avoid intentionally massacring civilians, but any found with weapons or resisting Avalonian military action are shown no mercy.

Avalonia hopes that the Bequelans will be unable to counterattack later down the line, and so its soldiers cause especial devastation on the shores, salting fields, razing settlements, and crippling shipbuilding facilities to solidify this hope.

Avalonia announces its intentions to leave the war to the Erinamese should they choose to continue it, once the shores are sufficiently devastated that the Bequelans will not pose a threat to Avalonian trade or allies in future.  There is no profit in doing more, and no honor lost in withdrawing.

Avalonia continues to await a reply from the Plexian factions regarding annexation by Avalonia.

Jesus Christ is born and dies in the islands to the east of Albiton.  The religion created from his teachings spreads from island to island, and is now labeled as an underground cult in Albiton.  Missionaries also begin arriving to teach in southern Aspidis and Northern Atenisia.

Aspidis, being the religiously biased country it is, is convinced that their religion is the correct one. The serpent gave birth to the world with the lives of the first men, there is no god, and no Jesus Christ. However, lowly peasants and the few germanics find that Jesus Christ is more believable than a two headed snake that ate people and stuff out new ones, and are quick to inherit it, prompting religious tension between the lower and higher class.

im not sure if i should rejoin
probably not

Although the trade investments had failed in the east, there was enough surplus funds to prevent any impact on the economy. Traders look elsewhere now.

Bastion of Hope is completed. Citizens look up to it for protection. Officer training begins.

The story of Jesus passes through Auria, but no one seems to care. Intellectuals denounce his miracles just as the pharaoh's mages denouced Moses.

Although the trade investments had failed in the east, there was enough surplus funds to prevent any impact on the economy.
Um, no?  It should at least have a moderate impact in your economy.

Erinaum begins planning a very large and ornate palace in the middle of Vålderesk since it has just accrued wealth for a long time and not really used it.  Residents and businesses will be compensated in full, and have any piece of land that they choose that is open (or that they can buy from current owners) protected by the State until their residence or business is rebuilt.

5,000 footsoldiers are sent to permanent garrison in Xianxan.

The ships arrive early however, and the fleet of a measly 20 ships with inexperienced crew are utterly destroyed.  The Bequelan raiders land, and begin wreaking havoc on the town, setting buildings on fire, and butchering civilians.  The already garrisoned 1,000 troops at Xianxan are having trouble fending them off.

Gungixao and Ashibia are asked to provide emergency help, and they comply—Gungixao sends in 2,000 soldiers, and Ashibia, 2,500.  They arrive a little on the late side, however, as already a quarter of the city is burned down.  Fire crews are quickly made, using some teams of civilians and some militants.

The combined forces reach Xianxan, and finish off the forces, only after half the city is burned and 8,000 have died, 6,000 of them civilian.

Xianxan is furious with Erinaum regarding the lack of proper protection it provided and demands repayment in order to sustain its trust in the golden crescent.  Gungixao and Ashibia also look unto Erinaum with a bit if distrust.  With the Ivēxür in such a state of pressure from the Western Asian States, he decides to use a great amount of the treasury to both refund and remodel Xianxan, refund Gungixao and Ashibia, and to build aqueducts throughout the regions, only requiring from the States a 4% tax on its citizens.  The Erinamese people's (all citizens) taxes rise by 2%.

A day of mourning is established in both Erinaum and Xianxan, and a monument in Xianxan's capitol square will be built in respect to those that fought and died through this crCIA, those whose lives were lost, and the Gungese and Ashibian soldiers and government who helped out.  A less grand monument is also built in Vålderesk's capitol square.

Meanwhile in The Bequelans.

The Erinamese–Avalonian forces cause enough havoc to get the proud Bequelans to talk.  A ceasefire is organized, and Erinaum fooers the following:

1)  That no peaceful ships or nations be harmed outside of your waters for any reason besides war with the purpose aside from glory.  The Erinamese admire a search of glory for your homeland and clan very admirable, but the choice of targets, that is, nations with no harmful intentions and trade and civilian ships, to be one of the upmost shames.

2)  Traveling inside Bequelan waters as well, should be respected as ships need to stay relatively near the shore.  The Bequelans may require a tax if they see fit, but no searches, seizures, harm, extortion or unconsensual guidance will be allowed.

Avalonia is now invited to offer more diplomatic offers.

Hello Lotavik is back from the dead.

Begin talks with Tasmesova about joining in a confederation with Lotavik since we have been great friends for a long while.

request more trade with Saobar. and send scouts south.

Hello Lotavik is back from the dead.

Begin talks with Tasmesova about joining in a confederation with Lotavik since we have been great friends for a long while.
They are interested, and ask what this entails in its entirety.

request more trade with Saobar.
Trade approved and it happens immediately.

Avalonia has nothing to add to the terms, and makes it clear that its troops will leave immediately and never again interfere with them unless Avalonian interests are directly threatened should the Bequelans agree to those terms.

The Avalonian settlement South of Xiansilverwaredownastarircalo vean receives a garrison of 2,500 men, to be pared down to 1,000 once the war with the Bequelans is over.  It was luck alone that the Bequelans didn't notice or didn't care about the settlement, and Avalonia doesn't count on luck.

Atenisia wants to be in love with Albiton again.

pls

Albiton so stronk and Atenisia so intelliegient.........

You could always be Avalonia's puppet.  After all, the Atensian royal lineage has spent more time in Avalonia than in Atensia and owes Avalonia a huge debt of gratitude for taking them in during their hour of crCIA.  Seriously though, don't be a dog which returns to its own vomit, have your natin grow a pair and become powerful.

Multiple Plexian factions agree to be annexed by Avalonia.  Most of Eastern Plexia, however, has chosen independence.  East Plexia is for the most part the less agriculturally developed region (more about hunting and fishing) and the one most devastated by the Bequelan War; most the leaders there view any form of foreign intervention as evil, whereas West Plexians see that the same intervention as what prevented similar destruction on a larger scale in their lands.  Avalonia gains control of all Plexia West of where Plexia dips down toward the East, including the island.

Did you really tell a nation that just came out of puppetry to grow a pair and offer to be a puppet in the same paragraph?

Yes, I suppose I did.  I tried for lie five minutes to come up with a good comeback, but there really is none.
Both are valid and justifiable options though.

Albiton so stronk and Atenisia so intelliegient.........
Stronk Albiton says no because they don't want to put up with Aspidis again, even though they have like 10× the resources of Aspidis.

Speaking of which, Christianity becomes popular in Albiton with the middle and lower classes, while the upper classes resist, for the most part.

Atenisia at the very least would like to have closer ties with Albiton.

Over the years the military has gotten larger, and territory expansions (have mentioned this) have happened.

Will Atenisia be sucessful? Will they end up being okay?

Tune in next time........... on........
