After years of brutal civil war between the many noble families of Rēsugurētā, many lives were taken of people of both noble and simple standing, people fighting for their lords or lords fighting for the honor of their family. Alliances came and went, as did skirmishes and wars, but now there is a definitive end in sight. After years of fighting amongst each other, the Shogun has finally redeemed himself by slaying a commander on the field in rage of his earlier humiliation, and word of such deeds has gotten out, over time the smaller clans seeking glory and fame in whatever form they can quickly raise their banners in the name of the shogun, and with the massive amounts of support from the smaller clans, soon the elder clans do the same, and finally the other big two do as well. With the amassed forces of literately all the fiefdoms within Rēsugurētā behind him, the Shogun orders the northern and southern clans to wrap around and sandwich in the rebellious forces while the eastern border lords have their armies force the troops west, into a large valley, from there the shogun along with a great amount of his forces ride out to meet with the force, with the advantage of elevation, archers rain arrows down upon the forces that were routed within the valley while cavalry come around to hit and run them as the arrows briefly stop for the archers to prepare to fire again, whilst infantry selflessly throw themselves at one another. Many of the rebellious commanders are killed, along with their troops, but not quite all of them, as a small force of cavalry manage to break free from the carnage and ride outwards, before riding into a town surrounding buddhist temple and slaughtering the monks there, before holding the temple down. After slaying the rest of the troops left behind to guard their retreat, the shogun and three other heads of houses ride out to set up siege. The shogun stays behind for the first wave whilst the troops move in to take the walls, the Daimyo of the Naogiri clan, Kai, attacks without remorse, slaying any troops that may lay down their arms in an attempt at surrender before being rendered injured, and allowing his troops to take it from their as they push forward and force the remaining troops back into the inner hold, now the Shogun and Daimyo of the Anakawa clan and a handful of troops burst into the inner hold and move in to kill the remaining troops, but however find that almost all of them have killed themselves, including the final rebel commander, what troops hadn't the guts to kill themselves are taken off for interrogations, torture, and later execution, whilst the Shogun rides out and finally returns to Tengoku, after his troops take it from whatever rebels may have held it and secure his safety. Shortly after this, Rēsugurētā begins taking interest in the northwest, and as such prepare mass expansions in said direction.
Meanwhile Buddhist warrior monks travel from Rēsugurētā to Galaumia and ask the clansmen of the eastern border region if they may create temples so they may share their teachings and train the populace combat, which would evidently lead to teaching the populace how to create Katanas of well refined high carbon steel due to being smart cigarettes.
