Atenisian merchants seem to discriminate selling services to Avalonians, chosing others first, but they do it lightly and just show they think Avalonians are a nuisance.
Which they do think.

They don't 1960 discriminate, they are just more... healthily unfriendly.

They still view Avalonians as partners because $$$, but y'know.

The feeling is mutual.

Distressed at the drain that its shares to the ZTB are causing on its coffers, the Avalonian Union offers Edbania half of its shares, Ru'sh Naal one third of its shares, and East Albiton the rest sans one share which it retains for itself.  These shares are all offered at 99 MTP The funds that would be going to that expensive project are instead rerouted toward lining its coffers, repaying any of its debts, and maintaining roads and whatnot.

so whats the point of this action except establishing what was common knowledge

After waiting a few years, expanses to the north east begin. The shogun, still upset as forget about everything that happened before, hand picks his generals that lead the forces to seize the deserts of the north east and issues orders to kill anyone whom may resist, and to bring back any nobility or high figures in the societies of the tribes and whatever city-states there may be, and that they may be either auctioned off or kept by the generals or officers that find them, for whatever kinky japanese stuff they may have in mind. Concentration camps are set up outside the general perimeter of the settlements of lands taken, and those whom resist and aren't fortunate enough to escape or die are sent to these camps for training on 'proper etiquette'.

Ru'sh Naal accepts the Avalonian ZTB shares and in order to offset the initial costs modifies the endowment practices at Teijin Kai; no longer granting graduation funds to the scholars at the school of Finance, while in return granting reduction of taxation of expenditures by graduates in Rustuffe lands and promises of future benefit for the Rustuffe economy and all those whom rely upon it.

A national ship yard is opened in the city of Daijoua (near Ru'sha) and production begins on sleeker, less costly merchant ships to be sold out to Rustuffe traders and other interested nations in order to reduce the amount of private foresting along the Ru coast.

To accompany the weaker design of the ship, a lightly armed escort ship is also developed to be less costly than the behemoth archer-platform boats making up the primary numbers of the Rustuffe Navy.

Both ships are significantly faster than any previous Rustuffe craft, and facilitate further ease of trade as the nation becomes more reliant on the sea to transport it's goods with the closure of the southern spice road.

At the loss of the Ezbatan holdings, this triggered Ajakistan, Romicia, Xianxan and East Albiton to want to buy to help bail out, but as Avalonia withdrew its holdings, every member wanted to sell, and the MTP plummetted.

Zesisoter enters a state of panic.  All remaining members are either forced to sell or must owe a huge debt to help bail out the ZTB.  All public services stop.

Xianxan's relationship with Erinaum begins fading.

uhm atenisia screams nope nope and sells whatever they can

like, their three holdings

also why do we have a complicated shares/stock system in 557 AD?

The Ru'sh Naal parliament immediately drops the recently purchased shares in order to protect the national economic stability.

The graduation endowment modifications at the Kai are not reverted, and trade towards Zesisoter decreases.

There is a large peaceful protest outside the capitol organized by various members of the merchants guilds from Teijina over the lack of support showed by the government. The Ru'sha Parliament assures it's citizens that it is doing everything thing it can to ensure the future stability for the nation, and by the request of the merchant speaker that alternate investment opportunities, a group of thirty merchants graduated from Teijin Kai begin their research into ways to promote trade.

With things continuing to go sideways in Zesisoter, Avalonian merchants there jump ship and head to Gehendenland and conduct business there for the time being.

I'm tempted so much to buy up all the seats now while the market is low, but the risk is just too much.  Even if it's penny stock it requires a substantial continued investment in a sinking ship.  Unless I can use a majority holding to change the investment terms to decrease the needed investment?

I am pretty sure they'd accept most any terms to sell a single stock at this point :P

A private military training facility opens in Werina, separate from the Kai school system, only state sponsored individuals may attend this all-purpose academy dedicated not only to military theory, but research into the physical sciences and medicine as well. The findings by the attendees of this school are kept private within the high up figures in Ru'sh Naal in order to protect the security of the public during this relatively hostile period.

Holdings in Zesisoter jump from the value of less than a grain of rice in some moments, but in the next, are worth an oxen's weight in gold.  As the prices are so unstable, and since gold is a viable security, many of the more wealthy investors and merchants pool their wealth together.  At the same time, they begin to convene and draw up legal modifications.  The small military is having trouble keeping mobs at bay, though many end up leaving Zesisoter.

Claims of trickery and magic bellowed through the halls of Ru'sh Kai as a professor at the college confronted the Great Daun Sun Bao whilst she demonstrated a way to accurately divine the direction that a curved rock would rest after falling.
The Bao claimed it was not in her power that the rock would move as such but rather it was in the nature of the rock, just as all things must fall downwards, the rock would always orient itself consistently.
These lodestones exhibited bizarre properties when interacting with the various metals that the college had available including a strong tendency to attract to an iron blade.

It was determined that the stone, being part of nature, could be clue as to more of it's inner workings than previously acknowledged.
Added to the curriculum of the school of Physical Sciences is research into the potential divinational properties of these stones.
Governmental use of lodestones begins in determining the placement of buildings and objects within them to help facilitate what was believed to be the river of energy these stones seemingly indicated.
Moreover, the constant orientational properties of these stones allowed for further accuracy in determining trade routes and placements of aqueducts and use of these stones in healing is investigated.
