Ytsur Empire joins the Five Seas Alliance, and refuses to join the OTA.

Albhad agrees to be allied to the Islamic Empire closely, but not as an Emirate.  Albhad joins the OTA.

A few merchants from Ezbatu escape from Taijoau waters and report that Taijoau is performing seizures of legal cargo and is setting tax rates over 65% on private and state-endorsed goods.

Ezbatu is enraged, but busy with its conquests at the moment, and cannot spare very much to enforce OTA policy.  Gungixao leaders are contacted, and are found discussing the same matters with Ru rebels.

The Arm of Bao is spontaneously disbanded, while many dedicated troop still hold to Neishah and the Gungxi government, many dedicated Baoists and other soldiers leave the force either pledgeing allegiance to various local townships to provide for the defense of the citizens against this tyrant or to rebellion forces dedicated to ousting his regime.

Many Kai pledge their allegiance to the effort of ousting Gungxi and declare that while their search for the Elxir of Immortality has proven false, they have come up with a solution that could retake the life of the nation from the clutches of the new leader. The Navaro Kai academy is mostly abandoned and many Kai reset upat the unfinished Academy of Pei.

The Five Seas Alliance unanimously says to forget off by sending a huge fleet to up their image.  They don't attack, but warn that they will if Atenisia doesn't back out of the region.
what in the holy forget is this

i am expanding west

they aren't even CLOSE to where i am spreading.

Ezbatu denounces Taijoau for its illegal trade actions.  Some of he navy (which is now done with landing forces from the sea) diverts north and begins to patrol for any Taijoan vessels, and seeks to escort any and all merchant vessels flying flags other than the Taijoan flag out of the area.  Any that do fly the Taijoan flag are avoided.  If the vessel engages, it will be engaged as well.

Patrol groups are kept apart far enough to where all patrols in the area are within visible distance so that if an attack happens, a flare will be launched to signal an attack.  If the attack is large, a dried oily seaweed is burned to create thick black smoke.  If the flare is launched, the patrols will come to the vessel's aid and converge upon them.  If the black smoke is seen, the ships will scatter to find other patrol groups in the area to converge in on the spot for backup.

After two fortified cities are taken, the advance becomes much easier.  Land forces find little to no resistance, seeing that towns are mostly made of farmers.  In many cases, the army simply marches through and claims the land.

Oh derp.  Void that then.  To me the continent is off and the oceans should be at the sides instead of having Rivus divided, so it causes a lot of directional problems for me.

Map updated.  I made Imperium Conservatium red because it matches flag color and it doesn't seem too similar to Hlaohamarr's color.

Ezbatu wishes to gather with the Oriental Crowns with intention of discussing the state of Taijoau.

The citizens of Teijina Province become increasingly alarmed at Ezbatan military aggression and expansion nearby and demand action.

The state begins setting up a camp on the east of the lake that lies east of the newest Ezbautan land and a river that runs through it and out to the ocean, a group of settlers are brought to the area to begin farming the lands to the east and north of the lake, but with a clear dividing line at the river/lake to define what is presumed an acceptable border. Various assets from the previous Arm of Bao that are able to be confiscated are incorporated into the primary military forces.

A message is sent in response that is taxing the waters in its own territory as agreed and it apologizes if there was a misunderstanding in the execution of local authority. It assures Ezbatu it will try to keep such violations in the future to a minimum.

The Ezbatan military organizes in Varakia and Northern Belania and Tsekenaum, with the navy sending out patrols to the north of the unclaimed land, though just outside of view from the shore.  Taijoau and the other OTA members with naval and sea trade presence in the area are notified that Ezbátu seeks to honor its OTA agreement, and is simply expanding into the unclaimed land to its natural north.  It also advises that trade routes be diverted around this area for the next few years.

Ok I was confused as to what you were referring to, I thought that new township was such, given that:
Instead of Lake lets make it just horizontally lined up with the southern edge of the penninsula where it tucks back inland and a presumed river dividing that there bay formed to the south.

What you're going all the way up to that penninsula?
Sheesh thats not an illegal move I guess cause You had called it first but if thats the case:
I am going to have to be much more insistant of my claim i made several pages ago that the lake around the north of Teijina was recently conqued for farming purposed and is now under Rustuffe control. I usually try to avoid being pushy about land claims, and theres a bunch of different claims I have made in the past that were never even paid attention to, but considering how much territory we are allowed to appearantly grab in one sitting, the edge around the Teijina/Titchwahk lake seems like a small area to request in comparison

Moreover I'll revise the statement to the citizens of Teijina are extremely frightened over recent border expansions by Ezbatu, but seeing as the land is already claimed there is nothing they can do about it. -,-

Rustuffe forces begin stationing themselves and along the borders in the major cities to prevent invasion.

Ezbátu releases a statement that for the next 100 years, it will not expand its own borders past this northward point.  These conquests are to secure longstanding Ezbatan interests, and to promote better safety and efficiency of trade in these regions.  (I had my eyes on this region since I joined the game, and I gave other nations who might want to settle there a few millennia to grab it just in case they wanted it.)

So um, about those talks?

The Ezbatan military finishes its campaign in the northern territories rather quickly, and begins establishing provincial governments and townships.  Reconstruction is now underway.

Members of the Navaro Kai academy elect a Gungixian descended/Wereuan citizen (from the old capitol of Ru'sha) Hwan Ghou Kai, whom had been given much military power due to his expertese in the battle of Old Daijoua, and was currently considered one of the most trusted generals in the Taijoua army. He was reluctant to join in the rebellion but was coaxed to the side of the Kai after witnessing many travesties committed against innocent civilians.

His meetings with the Kai have been secret and thus he is unable to attend the meetings himself but several ambassadors arrive in Gungixao to speak on his behalf.

He hopes to end the nonsensible persecution of the random peoples throughout his lands, with foreign support if necessary, and would pledge to maintain a stable alliance with nations that aid them in their plight, including revising the membership with the OTA to maintain stable tax rates and the like.

Not really so much.  I just formatted the NPC posts to be more easy to navigate.  As a result, there are 21 NPCs per post in the first and second posts.  Simply because of character limits.

Siderland's flag from way back.

The New Union begins to devote resources into the improvement of siege engines and the like, ranging from smaller ballista-like machines to large engines of war capable of hurling stones long distances.  Universities in the New Union begin to specialize more or less in certain fields (mostly the obviously useful stuff like mathematics and engineering, and also astronomy, at this point with a couple notable exceptions) but still maintain general stuff.

The local militia of Teijina pledges their allegiance to the usurpation of the current government and joining with the current forces in trying to stabilize the region.

The city of Winouaka, a previous gathering ground for anti-Gungxi conspirators, was one night completely surrounded by soldiers and large bags of sand doused in oil and lit aflame are catapulted into the city, burning it to the ground. The surrounding soldiers kill most of the citizens fleeing the city.

Representatives of the rebellion effort in Gungixao anxiously await word of the Oriental Kingdom's ruling regaruding present matters, especially given recent word of an entire town being destroyed.
