hit quote instead of modify?
I didn't notice I pressed back and it went back to my post when I thought I was still editing it.

A message is set out the night before the invasion to citizens warning them to stay indoors for the days to come.

The Teijina Militia begins with using explosives supplied by the Kai to blow a hole in the southern wall of Teijina and begin  running around town drawing attention and being a nusance, participating in hit-and-run operations on troops in the city attempting to respond to the chaos.

[At this point it would be assumatory for myself to represent both the rebellion forces and the Taijoua military, if a moderator wanted to decide how the majority of troops in the region would respond]

Oh.  Okay.  I was just going to full frontal assault on the area in three locations but that's okay I guess.

An Ezbatan engineer takes note of the explosives and travels back to Vålderesk to attempt to replicate such a device.

Being, at this point, completely surrounded by members of the Holy Nations, Tembrin applies for membership.

Armies of Siderland conquer the lands up to Estia and those two small islands to the West of it and looks to join Ashibia, Gungixao, and Xianxan in their alliance circle and the OTA.

Asar continues to wreak havoc on Zurukland's forces, and many flee to Espovon.  Zurukland's navy begins to siphon ships away from the battlefield to transport the government and its assets to Espovon.

After ages of extremely limited trade with the Holy Nations (with the exception of Espovon for which this has always been true), the New Union High Command issues a statement indicating that trade with these nations that does not fuel their war machine is welcome.  Only the sale of horses and weaponry/armor to merchants from the Holy Nations is still forbidden.  The New Union continues to enhance its economic presence in Calzone.

Also, considering that the distance limitations seem to allow me to reach far enough to be relevant to the trade consortium up North, trade with said consortium increases, and ships begin to travel into Albhad's gulf and into the Islamic Empire.

An ambassador is sent to the liberal Nordic states to appease them, ease tensions and ensure future good ones, and to open up trade and increase it in future.

With the trade of goods comes, of course, an exchange of information, and once again books and knowledge become valuable commodities sought after by merchants from the New Union.  The Library of Nazgar is expanded and organized so as to be able to house works from the East and the West.  Efforts are made, especially in the East to have craftsmen trained in these foreign lands so that they may return to the new Union with their skills and improve the methodologies used in the New Union as well as hopefully come back with technological know how as well.

Planned Cbrown towns

What I thought we agreed on my trying to turn the forces around first by causing a ruckus in the city, then you continue with such an assault.

(btw its basically just a firework lit with nowhere to go, so you're not getting much new data)

Cbrown towns
I wanted to call bs cause I was like thats too cool but then science and we are technically behind on our awesome cbrown towns count

Science++!

The New Union sends an ambassador to Galaumia to talk about getting it more widely endorsed in the OTA (or at least in the Southern part of it).

1)  On land I'm just outside of visible range.  I'm waiting for the city to be in chaos so that the Taijoan forces have to be divided, an that Teijin forces can be seiged properly from land and sea, hopefully forcing a surrender rather than causing unnecessary bloodshed.  At sea, the fleets are organizing at Xaonaan before they launch to thwart the Taijoan reinforcements from sea.

2)  Not to the point where it can blast through thick stone walls.

Siderland and Avalonia are endorsed by the Oriental Crowns into OTA.  The WOC accepts Siderland.

Ezbátu suggests in an OTA council meeting that Taijoau be placed under embargo.

The liberal Nordic states refuse Avalonian attempts to cool tension.  Rather they just want to be left alone.

Galaumia does not see a basis upon which Taijoau could be embargoed.

You wish us to endorse a cbrown town through the OTA? Interesting. We will see.

Did you miss the bit where merchants and their cargo were being illegally seized, and taxation stood at 65% and still stands high?

Those were meant to be completely different thoughts.  A cbrown town of that magnitude would be beyond reasonable means.  What I meant was that the New Union is after a wider endorsement by the OTA so as to facilitate trade, particularly with the IE.

The New Union will honor their wishes and leave the diplomacy door open should they wish to reconsider.

Atenisia begins to rack up some presence in Calzone, trading more and more goods with the factions as well as offer to give loans.

Atenisia joyously accepts the change of trade, and Atenisian merchants set sail for Avalonia.

2)  Not to the point where it can blast through thick stone walls.
Well explosions would weaken thick stone walls, and i've come along much farther on the search for actual black powder (a post I made a few pages ago was hinting towards this) so if thats the case then sure you do brown townyze something newish, I was simply hoping on avoiding uping the explosions until the battles got more dramatic seeing as the Kai are supposedly holding onto this formula very carefully right now and not many people know how to recreate it (as was gunpowder when it was first invented anyways)

Those were meant to be completely different thoughts.  A cbrown town of that magnitude would be beyond reasonable means.  What I meant was that the New Union is after a wider endorsement by the OTA so as to facilitate trade, particularly with the IE.
We will trade more, but the most we can do is endorse you as an ETM. You are not an Orient culture nor in the Orient region, making you unavaliable for the OTA.

the most we can do is endorse you as an ETM.
That's all I'm after (and for Galaumia to lead the charge to make the New Union, and maybe siderland as well, an official ETM, not just endorsed).  I want to be able to trade with the OTA ~freely to the benefit of all involved.

Avalonia begins to reopen economic and political ties with Siderland and begins to create a noticeable economic presence.  Merchants from the New Union note that the trip there could be made shorter and safer by creating a channel through the peninsula of the Ytsur Empire.  Although slavery in the New Union is virtually nonexistent as it's considered a dishonor to both the slave and the master, it does note that Ytsur's large source of cheap labor could prove useful in such an endeavor.  The Ytsur Empire is informed of the idea and the New Union continues to go around the peninsula for the time being, hoping that the channel is dug.

Avalonian scribes begin to produce great quantities of copies of various works on a number of different subjects found in the Library of Nazgar.  At first the work is done by hand, but some clever scribe receives a rich reward for the idea of something akin to woodblock printing, which sacrifices a certain level of neatness for a larger level of production and uniformity.  The scribe, and the engineer who aided him in the actual making of the first models, are given honors and some money.  Work is also being done to translate these works into Latin and Arabic (in case it's not obvious, the New Union plans to be selling books in the new markets, as well as some other stuff).

Serial production begins to take hold in a number of the New Union's industries where smaller markets before made regular production more profitable.  Particularly in shipbuilding and similar trades, this methodology takes over.

Truly this incarnation of Anagaea is more deserving of the subheading "An Era of Empires" than the last one.

Ytsur isn't on the best terms with OTA.  They say if such a project is to be done, it would demand high taxes from any passing tradesman.  It's best that you land in Albhad and take a land route to Galaumia.

Ezbatan stargazers begin to map the night skies at different times of year and from different points on Agara.
