Faw fires his two remaining missiles and starts to bug out towards the AWACS.
You knock them both out, and recieve a pair of missiles chasing you as you flee.
"All right, I'm out. Need to get more,"
The rear-facing radar alerts me to an incoming threat. I yank the stick back and release flares. After this maneuver I head towards the AWACS.
The flares throw off the missile, you are now home free.
I double back and fire my cannon at one of the drones.
"Do you think they're using these drones as a decoy, to get us weakened before they go in for the kill?"
You bang up one of the drones real good.
Looks like i'm being targeted. I take evasive maneuvers to avoid using the last of my loving flares.
It's close, but you manage to turn tight enough to outmaneuver the incoming missile.
I deploy another salvo of flares before opening up on another cluster of the drones with my guns, followed by a lock onto yet another drone. Another missile screams away.
You can put another two drone killmarks on your plane (though i wouldn't really advise keeping track).
I fire an HSM and fire my AC5 at some incoming drones
You kill one, and damage another.
"Do you think they're using these drones as a decoy, to get us weakened before they go in for the kill?"
"... Of course they're using them to weaken us, what the hell else would they use them for?"
"Didn't you guys cripple the carrier's ace squadrons a couple days ago? How could this be much of a trap if they haven't got much behind these drones,"
: He's right. This isn't a trap we're seeing, this is all they have left.
The drones retailiate by opening fire on you and your allies again.
