I love the 50s stuff
I liked it as a mix of 50s-80s rather than as a pure 50s thing.

might start a playthrough of 3. i like New Vegas better but i completed like 4 playthroughs of it already and i'm burnt out.

im beginning to think that im the only one that likes the color palette they chose

Thought the same as well m8. I like the more color. It's like, 280+ years after the great war, so color should have returned.

or, more appropriately, it never went anywhere. fallout 3 and NV were just butt-ugly

After 280 years of damage inflicted by the elements and light damage onto natural paint surfaces two factions arose, one concerned with restoring colorful paint to the wasteland and one concerned with removing flashy colors from the wasteland. These two factions are mortal enemies and fight for dominance over who gets to color the wasteland.

Ive been playing through with a Tale of Two Wastelands.  It combines Fallout 3 and New Vegas into a single game.
