Man 2015 is a really good year for video games. Fallout 4, MGSV, Witcher 3, and a few others I missed. IMO the next generation is really getting good now.

I just remembered Steam refunds are a thing. So assuming you preorder the game on Steam you should be safe. Might preorder it because I'm hyped and won't get screwed.

You can get a refund on a pre-order any time before the games release date.

Once the game is released the standard refund rules apply.
You can't refund if you have played more than 2 hours, and you can't refund the game after 2 weeks have passed since release (or purchase).

I think it would have to be in a really really awful state for me to find out I don't like it within 2 hours.
There's usually so much content and exploration at the beginning of these games that I might not get very far in 2 hours, lol.
