I feel like all weapons look the same including legendary weapons. It's like there is no truly "unique" weapons and it's all just borderlands style guns.
1. legendary items are literallly standard equipment with an enchantment, of course they'd look the same
2. most of the unique weapons in fallout 3 have the same model as the standard version with a slightly altered texture or an attachment.
3. wouldnt it be weird if in a world where weapon attachments existed, nobody but a mailman and an old man used them?

Finally got the rifleman perk and my combat shotgun now does 90 points of ballistic damage. loving up bloodbugs has never been more satisfying.

Fallout 3 was incredibly lazy, Obsidian had no problem creating unique weapons.

They couldn't even change the colors or add unique looking parts that you can't craft for legendary weapons?

Kellogg's Pistol is a unique legendary drop. At least I haven't seen any weapons that look like it. The Cryolator in Vault 111 also.

If you are low on Fusion Cores and you are in the Brotherhood, you can pickpocket them off of the armors in the Prydwen armory.

you can also pickpocket them off of anyone wearing power armor and they get kicked out of it

In other cases being an starfish got bounty hunters sent after you, pissing off the wrong faction sends hit men after you. Basically it ties into choice and consequence.
Why I also liked the karma system; it was a good RP element. I'm alright with it being gone for the most part though because companions are still affected by your decisions

The karma system as it was was pretty silly, but an overhaul would've been good

I just realized Nick Valentine is Mercer Frey

it seems more like they want the bioware/borderlands/minecraft audience

It would be nice if the legendary weapons looked at least a little different from their regular versions. iirc skyrim at least had like a little glowy thing for enchanted weapons.
what would be even cooler is if the legendary stuff was linked to a weapon part so you could mix and match and eventually get a weapon with a million different legendary attachments on it so you could get like a
super gun

but that's not gonna happen

I just realized Nick Valentine is Mercer Frey

Nick Valentine is also one cool motherforgeter

The french teacher robot is my waifu.

Have you seen any Assaultrons though? Whew...they've got some bods

i'm not saying i liked the karma "system"

i'm just saying i wanna be a butt in the game

but from what i've seen, you're pretty much a goody two-shoes aside from pickpocketing some nerds and shooting some useless settlers

You can easily be an starfish the same ways you always could, there's just no "WOW YOU'RE THE DEVIL" prompt every time you pick up an empty Nuka Cola bottle in someone's house
