does anyone else do the thing where whenever you find a unique settlement of raiders like with people who have custom names, when you kill them and ransack their place, you grab the unique person with a backstory, strip their clothes, and take them back to a settlement, and have special beds where you take their corpses and position them to be laying down, and put all of their unique items inside of a briefcase?
whenever I kill someone and regret it
1, I don't take off their clothes, but I shoot off their limbs and their head, then put their torso in a trash can or barrel or whatever I can find that it'll fit in. if there's nothing it'll fit
in I try to find a couch or a bed that looks relatively nice and put them on it
I don't know why. it just feels right
1that probably sounds weird but it happens. the obvious case is when a quest requires it and doing the quest is higher priority than leaving them alive
and then there are other times, that are usually a result of shooting first and going through everything second. for example, Red Tourette. I'd already done the beantown brewery stuff when I ran across her, but it had been a while, so I didn't even realize who she was until I read the journals on her computer and she was already ded. and they made me sad :(
also related: whenever I kill a brotherhood member I shoot their head off. cus the brotherhood sucks. I also take their holotags. I have 74 right now but apparently they're considered junk and used for steel :/
so who knows if that's the total. I've already destroyed them though so that's probably about the highest it's gonna get
