It would take about 8-12+ hours to sand and repaint an entire room.
yeah maybe if the sandpaper that you were using was made of 2-ply toilet paper.

tell that to someone with no experience.

The character in the game can repair and modify power armor., make gun modifications, make melee weapon modifications, craft armor, can build houses, can build combustion generators from scratch, able to create functioning electricity for houses and can make a water purifier.

Can't craft a single bullet.

It's that easy to make a bullet.
dang. look at all that equipment. i thought we weren't talking about the game for a second.

All the equipment needed to make a bullet in New Vegas was provided by the reloading workbenches.

Fallout 4 has a bunch of workbenches too, just no reloading workbenches.

there's a mod for it

Doesn't make sense to not have it in the vanilla base game.

I thought you wanted the game more realistic? Are you telling me you can make a bullet?

As for what Moltenkitten said. Anyone can get the materials and equipment and look up methods on how to make bullets. It takes absolutely no skill, unlike building a combustion generator to power up an industrial water purifier. That takes a lot of real skill.

I thought that using that workbench was completely useless because I always had enough ammo. I'm glad it isn't in fo4

there's a mod for it
yes but sadly still no interchangeable ammo types

The lack of ammo crafting means I cannot keep using the same gun I want.

If I want to continue using my 10mm I can't because I ran out of ammo. So I'm forced to use my .38 pipe pistol which has 1,000 ammo and has terrible damage. Normally I would just deconstruct all .38 ammo to create 10mm.

So I'm carrying all these damn heavy guns not for strategic purposes but in case if my main gun runs out of bullets.

sell the bullets for the stuff guns and buy bullets for good guns?

If I sold 1,000 .38 bullets for 1 cap each I'd make about 1,000 caps.

However if 10mm bullets are about 7 caps each then I'd only get about 142 10mm bullets. That's not even worth it.

If I were able to deconstruct 1,000 .38 bullets I'd be able to craft around 800 10mm bullets.

Selling bullets to buy bullets doesn't make any damn sense.  It would only be a logical choice if you could convince a trader to trade bullets even 1:1 not 1:7.

yeah but then you'd probably get lower grain shots (which means not as powerful) and actually need a bullet that fits in the casing of whatever the size a 10mm bullet is
though i guess since you shoot out of guns made of scrap wood and pipes idk why you can't make bullets

In-fact it does, moron.
