keeping things you're ashamed of to yourself is being deceptive? I doubt you tell every stranger you meet about your personal life

Uh, a stranger is a stranger? I never said you had to reveal anything about yourself to a 'stranger'. But when it comes to romantic partners, friendships and employers, I find it reasonable to expect a standard of open honesty? Do you not lol?

If 'something you're ashamed of' has an effect on my direct ability to interact with you, and you purposely conceal it, yeah I find that loving deceptive.

It's deceptive because maybe you really don't like being with a trans person for whatever personal reason.
literally the only reason for that would be because you're a bigot
there's not even an excuse. god knows what you'll come up with to justify it, but i guarantee you it will be ridiculous
But when it comes to romantic partners, friendships and employers, I find it reasonable to expect a standard of open honesty?
neither friends nor your employers have any need to know what you have in your pants
romantic partners, or even just loveual partners, sure, they should know. but I've never actually heard of a real life case of that happening

it does not

No I'm just not into trans people, problem?

so does your personal anecdote represent the experiences of 7 billion other people or what
At-least you agree it's their business lol.

neither friends nor your employers have any need to know what you have in your pants
it does not

This is just pure contradiction. Like, alright buddy. Sorry you disagree.
Hope you get along with your co-workers and friends real well when you can't even tell them what biological love you are lol.

I wish I could have hopped on this argument a long time ago.  Entertaining as hell to read.

On the topic of the thread originally, this kid is just trying to feel special.

No I'm just not into trans people, problem?
yeah that's actually discrimination but ok

"Hey my name's john, what have you got in those pants of yours ;)"

yeah that's actually discrimination but ok
HAHAHAHA wow no.

I cannot control who I'm attracted to so shut up.

"Hey my name's john, what have you got in those pants of yours ;)"

lol'd for real

HAHAHAHA wow no.

I cannot control who I'm attracted to so shut up.
yeah that's the same stuff people say when they try to convince people that they 'just arent attracted to black people'

"Hey my name's john, what have you got in those pants of yours ;)"

That's a better reflection on your own social skills than mine buddy. My friends don't have a habit of lying to me to benefit themselves.

yeah that's the same stuff people say when they try to convince people that they 'just arent attracted to black people'
I cannot believe what you're loving saying... So if I say "I'm not attracted to guys" I'm homophobic? Seriously shut up.

Of course a thread about a LGBTQ* sparks a heated debate.

I cannot believe what you're loving saying... So if I say "I'm not attracted to guys" I'm homophobic? Seriously shut up.
no but implying you wont date someone because they are transgender is forgeted up. telling me to shut up at the end of every post isnt making you seem like less of a richard, either

it's not lying, it's just not telling someone something that isnt their business, you forgetin creep. i really worry for your social skills if you actually think it's normal to ask someone to confirm what genitals they have/use to have.

no but implying you wont date someone because they are transgender is forgeted up.
So implying I'd never date a guy because of his gender is forgeted up too?

yeah that's the same stuff people say when they try to convince people that they 'just arent attracted to black people'
According to my gay friend, gays are pretty homophobic. If you are black, good luck finding a partner.
