yeah you would THINK so but it learns you to be prepared for a lot of things. against people you just learn to counter annoying tactics.

well that's a vocal minority situation
also a bit of selection bias, because people that like melee dont go around as much proclaiming how its the best or whatever

it's absolutely within one's right to "shun" the other smash games if you dont like them. bashing them or people who play them is stuffty but why would you pretend that you think a game is good if you dont genuinely believe that. you can respect smash 4 players / the scene without enjoying their game or even thinking it's well designed.
