so i went to a smash club today.  i played peach and the first thing i do is pull a bomb.  everybody was in utter disbelief and i was like "eh" (keep in mind that when i practiced peach i farmed for stitchfaces and i ended up pulling bombs more often than those damned elusive turnips)

also apparently my marth in PM is somewhat more decent than the rest of my characters?  maybe it was the matchups that i faced that made it seem that way

played gungame with my friends at lunch, they gave up here

What's gungame?

You start at mario, and every win you advance a character until you get to the end

I have a question for everyone. when playing, what part of the screen do you focus on? The stage? The opponent? Your character?

I have a question for everyone. when playing, what part of the screen do you focus on? The stage? The opponent? Your character?

I usually focus on what my opponent is doing and the space between me and my opponent
I'm already familiar with the movement of whoever I'm playing so it's not necessary to look at my own character or the stage

depends on how comfortable i am with your character.  if i know precise spacing and am comfortable with fighting the opponent, then I'd watch the space between.  otherwise, I generally watch the opponent while fighting

Me unless they're far away, ie recovering or spamming projectiles.

i focus on the opponent unless they're really far away, then i focus on myself & the stage to see if there's items around or something

mmm marth gets a little bit of a buff (2-3% on everything) this patch

if I'm playing a stage where some stuff happens in the background like gamer or halberd i'd probley keep an eye on the stage, but other than that I usually focus on the opponent
