I disagree with you on that. Her frame data is fairly broken, to the point where she has plenty of safe options. As long as you don't throw smashes around she's hard to punish and can out maneuver any character without difficulty.

Actual Samus isn't too bad in 4. I mained her for a while when the 3ds version was the only one out. Win rate was 74% so i can't complain. Seeing a samus in high tourney play might just encourage people to step out of the comfort zone a little bit and win with someone else for a while.

now hold on, shiek IS a ridiculously strong character, and the only reason imo she isn't recognized as the best in smash 4 is because of how strong luma alone is
she has extremely low lag aerials, projectiles, recovery that literally makes her invincible (not in the sense that it's really good, but that it actually DOES make her invincible for a few seconds), a combo for at least 30% at low - mid percents, she can easily gimp most characters in the game due to how fast her attacks come out, and to basically just spray liquid ass all over everyone, has multi-hit smash attacks

I felt the same way when I sat down to use her for a little bit. I feel buffs are definitely needed, but she's not the worst in the game.

nothing wrong with using shiek / sheik / wherever the e is in her name, but it is kinda lame if someone uses a high tier character just because they're good, even if they don't have fun with it

it makes sense, I SD'd a couple of times in smash 4 because the dair is different.

yeah, he's one of my secondary mains actually

if you need some rob tips, use neutral air a lot. it has ridiculous range on it, deals consistent damage, and has little lag

Initially that was his excuse, but since then he's said he expects heavy nerfs to her in the future and because of that doesn't want to put the time in to 'master' her just to have to fall to being stuff.

The thing is that melee sheik is still drastically different from 4 sheik, kill moves are different, hit boxes are different, and the general feel is different, it isnt really fair jokesto compare the two

p sure it was because he was afraid of Nintendo nerfing
