Author Topic: Why do people commit Self Delete?  (Read 16678 times)

Its normal.
Its common
While pill poppers trying to cheat the system are forever in that slump lol.
Just trying to power through it doesn't work for everyone
Aw yes, the ol " but mine is worse therefore it dosnt count" debate
What orifice did this one come out of?

Aw yes, the ol " but mine is worse therefore it dosnt count" debate
no what you're spewing is stupid and irrational

no what you're spewing is stupid and irrational
I am actually discussing something, while you are making great effort simply disagreeing without content.
Even if im wrong, you look dumb. You have a lot to learn about debating people.

you're not discussing anything

you're reiterating the same nonsense over and over even when you are called out on it

Self Delete is painless and decisive if you do it right.  I for one once envied people who had the courage to take their own life not knowing for sure what lay beyond.

That being said I don't think it's a good idea to kill oneself.

There is not one reason, you can't single it out
I for one, am depressed because my Dad ruins all special events, even days spent with him, because he yells all of the goddamn time.

you can't debate about Self Delete bisjac, not only is it dismissive to the people who succumb to their depression, but you look like a loving tool spewing out garbage.

It's kind of insensitive for you to have posted this an hour after Yosher made the thread about his brother

Anyway it's because depression is a mental illness. It's not a cry for attention or a culling of the weak, it is a public health issue.

this, also i don't think enough people actually settle down and realize the things they can be thankful for (education, house, profitable job, etc)
People can have amazing lives and be depressed. There's no logic to it because it's a mental illness.

As someone who has been suicidal, I think people commit Self Delete because of A) EXTREME misjudgement / naivety or B) a chemical imbalance in the brain. Luckily mine was the latter and I get through a day at a time.

The thing is, you don't really let yourself know when you hate yourself until you're already hurting pretty bad. I don't think it's something people can fully comprehend without experiencing. I had a hell of a time explaining what was going on in my head at the time.

Just because its mean dosnt make it wrong.
You cant argue things with feelings, it dosnt make your point well.

holy forget this is the best thread on the BLF, and i think i might of thrown the first match

Self Delete is usually linked with mental illnesses such as depression. To think Self Delete is a good solution to anything is wrong and people who have suicidal thoughts need to be helped.

What the forget, are people saying it's not wrong to commit Self Delete? Stop being handicapped.

Self Delete is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. Everything gets better. There is support you can get to help you fight the feelings, it is not necessary to end your life early and put an end to all the things you can possibly achieve just because of how you feel at a certain time.

In most cases, other people are also affected by the Self Delete such as family.
