We had a very low voter turn out because it's an off year. Basically, Ohio is usually a very liberal state, but for some reason only conservative old people actually vote when it's not a presidential election. I wasn't surprised Issue 3 didn't pass. So, as I said before:

2016 will most likely see a ratified and hopefully far better version of the bill, in which case most of us here in Ohio are ready to pass.

How is that some plant that was made illegal long before anyone knew anything about just happens to be the "miracle" plant? Honestly it sounds like people have based their lives too much around that thing to justify their hobby. I could probably take an onion and dry it, grind it, and smoke it where I would then probably experience some sort of pain killing effect. Yet out of all the things you can smoke, people are loyal to one plant that was used to make paper and rope.

it is believed that when the banned weed, they knew full well that hemp was not the same thing, but they banned it because of how easy it is to grow, and how useful it is, so they can make sure that people can't just grow their rope and paper and still have to buy it from the big businesses, under the guise of it being a drug, but I have no idea.

You're in pretty much full control. We realize a lot more than people who know nothing about the drug claim. If you're too high to drive, 9 times out of 10, you would make the decision not to drive. You're pretty cognitive. If you're drunk, you can't hide it. If you're stoned as forget, it's pretty easy to act sober.
