Your attack masterfully catches the pillagers-to-be off guard, shattering their morale and disorganizing any strategy they might have had. As two of the trained archers flee from the battlefield, they scream profanities and promises of revenge against you.

The day is yours, and the people of Circassia exit their safespots to greet you. They express thanks, but cannot give you anything for the raid before had destroyed anything worth receiving.

Tarmoth Trademaster: "You look like hell. For what reason do I have to trust you with my money? Let me see the dyes. You could be a bandit for all I know."

Bulgar Khan sends news of a caravan apparently stationed near the Ogden-Narvik border in Tarmoth. He tasks you with raiding its contents and reporting back before any is the wiser.

Merek of Luca heads towards the Coventry-Grimsby midway point, attacking small groups of civilians leaving the Nation of False Prophets. We keep our distance from larger groups, and seize the unconscious men as prisoners. The gods have plans for them--and my men need practice!
Your men successfully raid a small Coventrian caravan en route to Grimsby, taking 5 of the men hostage and killing 3 others. You order your men to drag the caravan's goods along as you avoid the larger caravans passing through. While hiding, you receive a letter detailing Coventrian requests for new mercenaries--but for what purpose? Only nefarious means, you assume.

The Republic of Vaasa captured the village of Sazawa from the Masovian Empire without any bloodshed. The republic's claimed territory is now marked on the map, but notice how the borders are without official designation: therefore the territory marked is simply claimed but not official.

Tsar Vladimir's army is rapidly approaching the captured village of Sazawa, so Prince Simo reorganizes his soldiers into other roles in preparation as well as vassalizing a new subject, the haughty Osmo Kangas.

The standoff in Djemahdet between Muamed and the roving bandits continue.

Basileus Tiberius sends a message to his vassals as such: "I am considering peace with the Masovians so as to focus our efforts... elsewhere. If you have any objections, state them now so I can behead you immediately. End of message."

Muamed steps out into the battle lines and delivers an ultimatum to the bandits in the village.

"You have no hope of escape. Your supplies are dwindling. You have incurred the wrath of the Sultan and all of his vassals by occupying his village. Come out now without your weapons nor plundered loot and you will not be harmed. You will receive fair treatment and a fair word to the Sultan. Refuse, and you will perish."

"I didn't do it for a reward. In any case, who are those men and why were they attacking? Are they in league with the White Wolf?"

Tend to the wounded as best as possible (hopefully with the villagers help), have the men round up the fallen foes gear, distribute better equipment among one another where it is needed, and leave the rest for the villagers.

Tu Khan: Head to the caravan stated and loot it all. No survivors. Bar bar barbarbarbarbarbarbarbarbarba rbarbarbarbarbar.

(After I return) "Not an objection sire, but what about the kingdom of Avignon?"

Adalwolf waits for the group of bandits to approach his trap, or if they're continuing on to follow them and attack them from the rear posing as another party.

"But I am not a bandit, I am a Carpaccian trade regulator."
He pulls out his identification papers.

I head to Grimsby, ordering my men to hide in the woods outside. I enter the market with the stolen goods, posing as a merchant. I sell them as quickly as possible--the gods have other work for me. With my profits, I purchase as much armor & weaponry as I can for my men. I'll also stop by the church, looking for a monk or cleric to act as Holy Priest for my warband.

The enemy warband leader exits a home to face you.

Mubarak the Scourge: "And to whom do I owe the honor? Your little gang of amateurs has been bothering my men lately, especially your petty blockade. My men are expertly trained and bloodthirsty veterans of combat. You'd best be moving on now."

"I didn't do it for a reward. In any case, who are those men and why were they attacking? Are they in league with the White Wolf?"
Village Elder: "Yes, those men are in league with the White Wolf. He thought this village was without protection, but I suppose you've proved him wrong. He'll most likely return here soon to seek vengeance, so prepare yourself."

Thanks to your proximity and all-mounted warband, you move swiftly between Narvik patrols and into the interior near Tarmoth.

(After I return) "Not an objection sire, but what about the kingdom of Avignon?"
Basileus Tiberius sends an additional letter to his vassals: "P.S. I'll seek peace with the Avignese as well--we've no quarrel with them at this time. Right now we need to focus our efforts on more enlightening conflicts. Message over."

Adalwolf waits for the group of bandits to approach his trap, or if they're continuing on to follow them and attack them from the rear posing as another party.
You counter-ambush the ambush party, catching the 17-man force off guard and quickly enveloping them with blows. Your attack kills 15 of the men, leaving 2 unconscious.

"But I am not a bandit, I am a Carpaccian trade regulator."
He pulls out his identification papers.
Tarmoth Trademaster: "Hmm... so you are. Very well, I suppose Giovanni's having you do his dirty work while he sits at home drinking away. Has the entire dye load survived your travel? Do you have all of the carts with you?"

I'll also stop by the church, looking for a monk or cleric to act as Holy Priest for my warband.
You stop by the local cathedral and recruit the Clerical and Paranoid Father Bruno. Your vivid dreams and storytelling convince him of an impending disaster, and so he is quick to file into your ranks.

Tsar Vladimir has sent a message to Prince Simo detailing utter annihilation if he does not surrender at once.

"So be it, infidel. Your soul will burn in the fire for eternity, by Allah's admission."

Muamed goes back behind the lines. The siege will continue. In the meantime, he sends a letter to the Sultan informing him of he situation and asking if he wants the bandit leader alive or not.

Adalwolf sends three men back to the bandit camp to assist the other footmen in their looting.

he orders the rest of his men back to the town along with the two unconscious men.

(if) once they arrive back at the town Adalwolf has the unconscious men placed within the blockhouse in an empty storeroom while he goes to check on the other camps.

"If I'm to defend this settlement, I'll need your folks help as well. He won't be coming just for me, you know? He'll definitely think you have a hand in the matter. I need every able-bodied person to fight. Until the arrival of the White Wolf, me and my men will help provide training. Otherwise, I'll take my leave. After all, I came here for recruitment."
