tell the men to stay on watch until daylight which isn't too far off.

I've got finals this week, so bear with me

train more men with bows

Evaluate the surrounding area of the village. Take into consideration the landscape for potential choke points, traps or spots for an ambush.
You examine the contours of your surroundings, plotting for strategic targets come the White Wolf.

Tu Khan: "What is your next order, Great Khan?"
Bulgar Khan: "I will be leaving for Basileus tomorrow en route for a diplomatic mission. In the meantime, protect our homeland."

Vincent hurries off to catch a caravan to Basileus.
You stow away on the only caravan en route to Basileus, opting to leave the Kingdom of Narvik as soon as possible.

Merek of Luca heads towards the city of Lorraine. Upon arrival, he makes a great announcement at the local tavern. He shall head East--into the Unholy Lands, and rain terror upon the heretics! Hell on Earth of which kind has never been seen before shall devastate their lands--the people will beg for mercy, and get none until they abandon their false ways. Paradise, riches, splendor, and more gold than you could spend in a thousand lifetimes will be granted to any who aid me in my quest! So join me brothers--and retake what is yours! What is ours! Fight for a better world!

(I recruit men.)
You gather an audience during your speech, attracting 6 men to your side and interesting a group of soldiers wearing Avignese regalia. They hand you a pamphlet regarding Avignese mercenary contracts and "impending revanchism against the Pact."

Under the cover of darkness, Muamed takes his cavalry and leads them out of sight, ready to counter-charge the enemy offensive once they leave the town.
Your men move into position and await Mubarak's attack. He appears to be carefully organizing his plan, at least, that's what your scout reports. Your scout predicts that the attack will come at daybreak.

tell the men to stay on watch until daylight which isn't too far off.

In the meanwhile Adalwolf waits for the rest of the men to return with the supplies.
Your men return from the bandit camp with supplies and news: Walhaz is close. An intercepted letter details his annoyance in your warband's intervention and his intentions to roast you over a fire.

train more men with bows
You convert a handful of your men into archers, thus supplying you with ranged capabilities.

Peace talks between Masovia and Carpaccia are rumored to be underway. If anything will come of this, who knows.

"alert the villagers, hide the vulnerable and fetch anyone willing to help."

Adalwolf orders the camps to retreat into the village and review the equipment.

Merek of Luca holds loyalty to no lord but the gods themselves!

Now is the hour--Merek of Luca is going to war with the Holy Coventry! I begin the short march to Nortire, the nearest Coventry town. Fearing my men will be too weak to act as proper Inquisitors, I order for them to train in combat before approaching the village.

Before the sun sets, I take the weakest man from the army, and the youngest prisoner. Throwing them both short blades, I order them to duel. I tell the men to watch carefully--for this is a real fight. They might learn something.

u a forgetin zealot dude

Send scouts to look over Sazawa

Evaluate at least three of the most probable routes for the enemies to advance upon the village, and booby-trap two of them with manure and spike pits. Have a trio of men scout the area for potential enemy movement and lay down some sentries around the village itself. Along with the remaining forces, train the rest of the villagers in the event that the enemy break through their defenses and make it into the village center.

Write and copy a letter once detailing that the recipients, the garrisons of castles Rassvet and Vilnius, refrain from directing traffic towards the village to avoid collateral damage. Imply that assistance would be greatly appreciated in the matter of apprehending, or executing, the Butcher of Blaviken the White Wolf.

Bulgar Khan: "I will be leaving for Basileus tomorrow en route for a diplomatic mission. In the meantime, protect our homeland."

scout the Odgen-Narvik border

just a heads up, today is another day of no updates (more finals)

best to get your actions in before tomorrow, then

Make haste to Basileus.
Re-evaluate my well-being. Have I even eaten?

Do I still have my crossbow with me

Your scout warns you of an impending force unlike any other. He can't place where the footsteps are coming from because they appear to be coming from everywhere. Your men brace for battle.

You train your men, preparing them for the cleansing to come. What a glorious moment this shall be! The first appeasement to the gods!

Merek of Luca has acquired the trait Unorthodox.

Send scouts to look over Sazawa
You have no formal scouts, but some of your archers catch wind of the Sazawan military standing... outside of their town's limits? Oh wait, that's Tsar Vladimir's army. Whoops. It appears Tsar Vladimir will be returning soon to lead the charge against the Vaasans, but for now, you can see the massing of infantry and compulsory drilling of the Vaasan rebels underway.

A messenger finds you with a notice regarding the White Wolf's presence in Lodz to the northeast. You galvanize your men and prepare to face the worst, hoping to attract an assault on your heavily defended position.

scout the Odgen-Narvik border
When the border patrols get within squinting distance of your party, you whisk away into the shadows to avoid detection. It appears you made quite a name for yourself. So much, in fact, that a messenger finds you with an intercepted bounty letter from Jarl Harald the Guillotine regarding your raid. The bounty is *not very high, but it's a bounty nonetheless. Surely, you aren't welcome in Narvik territory anymore.

Make haste to Basileus.
Re-evaluate my well-being. Have I even eaten?

Do I still have my crossbow with me
You still have your crossbow with you and eat in between fleeing. Your hiding in the caravan's storage is beginning to get uncomfortable and hard to breathe, but you continue lying in wait to avoid being thrown off.

Your scout's prediction of an assault at daybreak shows true. The enemy's superior experience and weaponry prove fatal to many of your less veteran recruits, costing them their lives. Your off-map cavalry rush in during the enemy's massacre and quickly subdue the killing, although one horseman was ejected from his steed due to the enemy's pikes and promptly died. All in all, Mubarak escaped with a few of his good men, but those that lay not dead are yours to take prisoner, if you so desire.

Your men have already gone through the liberty of stealing his swordsmen's blades, after witnessing their sheer superiority against other infantry.

The Tebessan Circuit of Ayatollahs has crowned Sultan Yusuf the Lawgiver the most noble of all the Mudammic (in-universe Islam) titles: Mujaddid! A legitimacy case was brought against the young ruler but has now been settled. His authority is not to be questioned, and as such, has had the Young trait removed. Peace be upon Yusuf!

Tsar Vladimir the Terrible and Basileus Tiberius the Avaricious have come to an agreement: peace has been established between the three kingdoms (Masovia, Carpaccia, and Carpaccia's ally of Avignon) for the time being.

Related to Carpaccia, Bulgar Khan of the Ogden Khanate met with Basileus Tiberius as well, however, not to discuss peace. What could it be? Rumor has it, a war is on the horizon...

Loot the rest of the party and notify the villagers they may return. Send the scout to pursue and monitor Mubarak. Once the business at the village is concluded, pack up and hunt him down.
