Honestly it's up to you but I max w because it scales better than q, you become a cow shot from a cannon.
lvl 1 depends on the matchup, if you want to deny the first cs from him go w to piss him off, if you're certain you can win a melee trade go q so you can proc the thunderlord
the moment you hit 2, if you haven't forgeted up lvl 1 trades, do the combo for some sweet trade. Make sure you have thunderlord for it or else it maybe won't be as huge. continue doing this until he's beaten lmao
if the matchup is tough, you're maybe the one under turret with low hp, but that's no biggie for ap ali. cs is easy and he can't dive you. wait for gank or maybe flash q and w him under turret for that great feeling
