Your ult lasts longer than his ult and to be frank, he needs to be veeeery alert if he's gonna ult before you burst him. I'm very curious on how you lost :p Who was in jungle because if they dive you, you can just focus him, if you overextend that's your fault.


Illiaoi was a pretty cancer matchup, though i totally pulled it off, the other lanes and jungle fed af lol so I had to leave top and roam but every enemy was so up in level and gold that I didn't even do anything. No one did, this was over before 20 minutes. Sucks that I had a hard matchup the game that I really woulda need the snowballin. Ap ez wasn't that fun of a matchup either, but manageable.

I'm declaring myself the resident Trynd guru, and I just can't see a tryn falling behind against an Ali, particularly an AP Ali.

The only real way Ali could harass is Q or W>Q, and he shouldn't really be killing a trynd with that. Pre-6, tryn should be able to chunk ali with crits of justice, and post-6, tryn should be able to bait the cow with ult + heal + ignite and burn a sum at least. If anything, tryn should at the least have a huge cs lead and repeatedly shove ali into tower and outroam/counterjungle.

In lanes where the enemy is a tank that has to burn mana to waveclear, a decent tryn is gonna ward up, shove, and roam. If Ali wants a chance to get cs, he'll have to try to waveclear under tower with q, which costs A TON of his mana.

A tryn with Guinsoos is going to out wave-clear and out-damage an ali that rushed spooky ghosts. FQC is only 600 gold less than rageblade, (2200 vs 2800) and tryn is probably going to have a lead over ali, so they'll each get their respective item ~1 minute apart. Ideally, in that lane, tryn is never going to be farming in tower, while ali is going to farm in tower all lane. Tryn also has the option of farming jungle camps/scuttle, which Ali lacks the sustained damage to do quickly enough early game.

Tryn should, ideally, try to bait ali q by running near the edge of the range. If he can bait that out, spin on ali and try to crit or bait out ult and then disengage if a kill isn't possible. A squishy ali with no ult is a dead ali, considering Tryn's dives are outrageously good. Just my thoughts though, but I'd think Tryn should win that lane all other things being equal. Correct me if I'm wrong, though. I haven't played vs an ap ali yet.

I somehow managed to get two free wins into my gold promos... yeah you read it right TWO free wins
So yeah im back in gold now obviously idk how they came up with that but I ain't complaining

Edit: Fiora should have NO synergy with bruiser items. Riot's rework of her sucks stuff because all it did was add an annoying minigame to her kit that doesn't make her any harder to play. % Max HP true damage has been admitted to be unbalanced multiple times by riot, yet somehow they gave it to another champ. p much this. She was okay until the rework then became obnoxious.

oh you're squishy? have fun, she's going to have 3k hp and still out damage you.

oh you're a tank? have fun not being able to build resists to her vitals.


a champ with the identity "grand duelist" and according to riot, was too easy to play, shouldn't be a bruiser with crazy scaling and a stupid minigame that isn't hard for her but is annoying for her opponent. Before, their problem was that she did too much damage without risking much. Now she does too much damage along with true damage while risking even less due to tankier build + dumb aoe heal.
