The world would literally be a better place if no one believed in god. We would evolve as a society.
Not really. Sure religions hinder technological advancement, but they also give people, well, faith and hope. Start banning all religions like Riddler on steroids and you get people being all pissed because they want to be free to their beliefs. If you try and make the scenario that if religion never existed in the first place, that the world would be better, then that's just dumb. If people didn't have those believed explanations for the things that they believed (ex. God creating everything) then they would be frustrated they didn't know. They wouldn't have had the technology to find out about "the big bang" or any other theories about creation for millennia, not to mention depression.
More people have been murdered by the name of god.
Religious people are crazy and they will kill you if you question their faith.
Yes, many people have been murdered by the name of god - By people who are literally psychopaths, and would be murderers at some point in their lives anyways. The "all religious people are crazy" thing is a terrible stereotype. How about you try not spewing bullstuff all day and use your brain?
How about the crusades then?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crusades
The Crusades weren't started by religions themselves, just starfishs that tried to force their religions upon each other by brute force. This was hundreds of years ago, mind you, and believe it or not times change.
I'm not saying all religious people are crazy. I'm saying that religion was built by crazy people.
Religious people are crazy and they will kill you if you question their faith.
?????
You forget the 6 million jews slaughtered because they have different religious beliefs.
You mean Riddler? Riddler wasn't crazy, and he didn't actually try and force religious beliefs on the Jews. He didn't like Jews, simple as that.
