the bloxcity predicament - gamefandan's & darkhawk accounts compromised??

i may have an idea as to why they're getting session ids.

i want to look into it so they don't play it smart and remove said evidence that would prove my theory true or false so give me a few hours.

a friend of mine gave me an alternative account in case this one goes bust because of those forgeters.

another thing for badspot: if it's phishing, i haven't visited the drama board for 3 minutes while it's going on and that was while i was on the last poster on there.

so i visited the board again, it said another guy was the last poster (remember i clearly saw that i was the last poster before) and there was no "new" button. my first instinct was to log out and nothing seemed to happen to my account.
it might be phishing still but that's my 2 cents.

I think it was automatically checked when I logged in just now and when the Forums went back up

alright my first theory was images however it is unlikely to be the case due to the fact that valen was compromised.

the theory was they're hijacking session ids through that.

so i got a new theory: you know your email? everybody who has been compromised tell me if they check every email they get in their proper inbox or not. (don't include spam emails)

I should be worried in this case, seeing as I joined in 2008.

I did change my password recently in case it was an exploit that was found previously and now they are abusing it.

i'm just gonna go out on a limb here, has anybody suspected XSS? zoogie just got hit by a reauthentication code (fake popup) so they could possibly steal his email session or some stuff.
i'd leave the door open, as it's always possible that can happen (see: beef toolkit, and such)

it's possible, as if you go onto bloxcity i assume they hook into your browser and send fake pop-ups to steal email info, and such. there could also be the slight possibility of a RAT being installed on your PC, so do virus scans n stuff.
stay wary, don't visit anything that's really personal (banking, social media, government stuff) as if you visited bloxcity or if you visited this site you could be targetted for info stealing
but then again, it's just a possibility, take my words with a grain of salt.
