Also OP, trans people aren't looked down upon in the christian community (or at least the catholic community) as a matter of fact, Pope Francis is embracing some of the mainstream topics in today's society.  There is speculation that same-love marriage will be allowed to take place in a catholic church just not by a catholic priest.

Except Pope Francis is looked down upon by most Catholics and the ones that don't hate him don't know the type of stuff he's said about stuff like this.
