i use physical ps2 games in a pc emulator because i dont have a ps2 and my ps3 doesnt read them
It can, doesn't mean it always does.
I have personally used PS1 discs for PS1 games on an emulator, because I didn't have the actual console.

some emulators also actually make graphics nicer

see also: dolphin, with being able to go beyond the boundaries of what games could show and improve graphics

It can, doesn't mean it always does.

It can and it will.

Doesn't mean companies like sony should allow that bullstuff because a select few might not pirate their games.

I've had no luck getting my hands on a Switch. I've tried Toys R Us, Game, Argos and all the supermarkets around me and even up north.
All sold out. No idea when it'll be restocked.

I waited for my ps4 to go on sale. never fell for hype

not if you dump your own games that you BOUGHT.

The console is literally harder to get then anything else related to it.

Emulation isn't piracy, downloading games off the internet is.
Nintendo has a very, very bad reputation of believing that all forms of emulation are illegal because according to them, it's impossible to "legally" obtain a copy of the rom. Getting it from your own copy of the game, according to them, is illegal. I don't think that's true at all, but I have no idea why they're saying that in the first place.

Why the forget should a company allow emulating when it leads to piracy?

"Not all pirate"

So what? A good amount do pirate games and millions and millions worth of games are loving pirated.

One of the mario titles was the most pirated game of all time. Nintendo lost millions.

But at least the very few non pirates can emulate still, thanks home brew emulation!

(Nintendo believe's) Getting it from your own copy of the game, according to them, is illegal.
That's because nintendo is handicapped.

How do you calculate what was lost to piracy? Just because someone downloaded/obtained the game for free doesn't mean they would have bought it.

Why would they buy a game they've already played and beaten to death as they got it for free?

Uhh, how many people buy re-releases of games that they've played before? A lot.

Hell I've played Spyro 2 to completion at least 10 times 3 of those in one sitting.

Uhh, how many people buy re-releases of games that they've played before? A lot.

So you mean a 1990s pokemon red game and some pokemon red game from 2000 something with updated graphics?

Wow you sure made a compelling argument for game piracy.

Where are you going with this?

There is no reason to homebrew stuff.

There is no reason to homebrew stuff.
Yes there is, and yes there is outside of piracy you killjoy.

Have you ever heard of HOMEBREW GAMES?
No, probably not, you're too busy sucking nintendo's richard while simultaneously bitch slappin' them.
What an abusive relation ship with the game industry you have Tony.

I'm not advocating piracy, I'm pointing out that people do purchase games they have played before, even if they played it for free, which you asserted was an unrealistic scenario.

Also, people rebuy games that are re-released but not even remastered. For example, I have purchased Dead Island and Borderlands 2 multiple times when they've been re-released on a new platform.
