probably want to just make sure they dont need a day 1 patch/missed anything to include in a day 1 patch

I'm hoping they switched from p2p to actual servers and they're testing them

i'm pretty sure it's impossible for them to have fully switched in such little time

my hope is that they just refined the current system so there's stable connections and less disconnecting.

how much diversity is there between "heroes"? is it just what weapons they use? because looking at the vikings, it just looks like: 1 big axe, medium axe and a shield, two small axes

unique hero special moves / traits (e.g.: conqueror can hold m2 to wind up his flail, and has better guarding than heroes like kensei), each hero has unique customization options, i think different stats like health, different movesets and changes to standard attacks (e.g.: conqueror's light attacks aren't considered a combo but can be swung infinitely)

this is just all i can remember, but yeah tl;dr each hero plays a lot differently from the others in their faction, warlord (i think the viking with the shield) plays a lot more defensively and is better at getting a couple hits in and backing off compared to the berserker who works a lot better constantly being in their opponent's face

so is team composition a factor in the meta of this game? like are you going to want a certain combination of warrior types in your battle, or is it just how well you utilize their unique strengths?

as someone who shares your enthusiasm for customization, i'll list it out for you.

LIST OF STUFF YOU CAN CUSTOMIZE / CHANGE
- Chestplate (legs are a part of it)
- Arms
- Helmet
- Hilt
- Guard
- Blade
- Helmet ornaments (like the helmet wing / ears thing seen on page 1)
- Armor carvings. There's a carving of a face with big lips that I use for my Warden.
- You can customize every single piece of armor with a unique pattern or carving, and include your emblem on at least piece of the character.
- You unlock various paint jobs, and can choose what color combination you use neutrally, for blue team, and for red team.
- You can change the material of your armor, as in Copper, Steel, Gold, etc. This applies to leather as well with different options.
- Every piece of equipment you get has individual stats and if you don't like the appearance of an item but like it's stats you can swap its appearance out for another item.
- Along with that, as you gain reputation, you unlock more and more items and with higher rarities.
- You can have 3 loadouts per hero class
- Change your executions and taunts, as well as their keybind.
- Choose what passive skills and whatnot you have, 4 slots. (IE - Putting down a banner that boosts teammate damage)
- There's just a ton of content variation as well for patterns, paint, and armor.
- Dude you can get a loving owl on your sword handle like just a carved owl
- Also helmet wings like oh my god
- Putting armor carvings of the face onto every piece of your armor turns you into Face Man
- Change gender for some heros, and skin tone as well

the question is how much of this will cost money

most if not all of the stuff is either free, unlocked on leveling up, or you pay with in-game currency you get from doing matches and daily challenges
