And you're wrong.

If it was the company doing some shady stuff that didn't involve the game itself... Like canning JonTron for his political views for example.  Then who gives a forget.
But this is something that affects the game itself. You're given less freedom. The reason GTAV was as popular as it was is because of mods. People aren't just randomly boycotting it. There's a lot of people legitimately upset because they play with mods. The way they had fun with the game was removed from them. This is more than just "news about shady stuff a company did".

and there's people that don't play with mods and aren't legitimately upset. i've played GTA V without any mods and i still thought it was fun enough. you seem to think im underestimating the impact of them taking mods away from people which i'm clearly not, i've said before i don't agree either and i think it's a richard move of them. yes, it may as well be the worst move rockstar made and now they are getting backlash for it, but either way this wasn't the point i was trying to make in the first post, i was saying that you don't need to berate or confront others that they *still* play GTA V because of said news. if you give them the news and they don't play anymore that's completely their choice. i don't know why you guys think it's that hard to comprehend this because i've tried to make this point in the beginning that "just don't be an starfish to others and you're fine."

Absolutely amazing, I bought it a while ago (probably at least a year ago) and while it doesn't get frequent updates, it gets updates every few months which generally include some really neat feature like new maps or new mode rules and new default modes incorporating the mode rules and a TON of cosmetics.

Also you get drops every few rounds that you can sell on the community market or use to craft and because you have to get one of each of the 5 basic parts to make an advanced part and one of each of the 5 advanced part to make a cosmetic, plenty of people are looking to get that fifth part they need because all they're getting are batteries and the game just won't drop a motor already aaaaaaaaaaaa

project zomboid has a really steep learning curve and is (no pun intended) dead for newer players because they did not have enough time to adjust to it and learn the ropes
the game is really hard and one forgetup can end to you dying in a few seconds. not a good game if you get mad easily
