Who cares if it's nice... It's the law. The law isn't meant to be nice, it's meant to uphold the rules and keep order. Letting illegals walk into the country and get free citizenship is disrespectful to all the people who have come before and immigrated to the country legally. Not to mention illegals likely haven't been vaccinated for anything and that puts everybody else at risk of being exposed to diseases that have previously been eradicated in the US. Not saying travelers from abroad couldn't do that, but it still puts us at greater risk.
its not “disrespectful” if these people didn’t have a legal opportunity to enter the US with a path to citizenship. our immigration issue is in methodology, the majority of americans don’t hardly want open borders. asylum seekers are sent back to their mother country while their cases are being processed, where we’ve sent said country the information that they are attempting to seek asylum in the US. people who are deported aren’t held under reasonable legal scrutiny in violation of the very same human rights for which we’ve criticized any of our rivals

it’s fine to have standards where we want only people expected to contribute to our economy and society. it’s not fine to be negligent in enforcing it as the most capable force in the west

Illegal Immigrants, Prisoners, Military Control of Oil and Chinese Slave Labor all account for the backbone of the US Economy.

We're importing people unlawfully to create a secondary class of citizens and this should 100% be stopped.

And it's worse than you may realize. The people being brought across the border are often marked as indentured servants, which is a nice
way of saying debt slaves. Often times these debt slaves are children.

The issue is far more dynamic than building a wall or letting them all in.
