Space stage is boring tits.
I don't care if I can transform planets and kill, there's no real point to it anymore and I'm simply doing repetitive tasks over and over.

Spore is a good game, but it's not what it was hyped to be.

Amen to that.

Sounds like I won't be buying it.

I was never overly interested in it, and I see a lot of negative feedback on it everywhere, so I'll save myself 50 bucks and get a better Video card or something.

i got galactic too

when i came back from bestbuy the plastic cover slipped and both cases hit my hard garage floor :(

For me it fell out and one of the corners scraped my leg pretty bad, but i caught it.

Then your computer gets SeCURE Rom crap

Considering that it was incredibly hyped, of course its not what it was hyped up to be.

If you decide not to buy it, you don't have to post in here saying "LOL NOT BUYING".

Then your computer gets SeCURE Rom crap
It's been taken out.

What happens if you buy up a home planet? Because I've been trading with my ally's home planet and I can buy his solar system thar now.

The same thing if you were to get the home planet by military means, just they wont be at war with you.

What happens by military means?

Vista is seriously pissing me off, the damn microsoft application registration is failing every single time. I get to about 99%, and it pops up, and the registration fails, then it finishes installing. Then I can't play because there is no shortcut, and there is .exe in the game folder.

Edit- nvm, after the third time installing I finally got it to work.

I never had a problem. Sucks to be you.

None of my twenty computers can run Spore. I need a new graphics card.

one awesome trick, that should have been obvious to you guys anyway.
get your fast prime pick of system(s) before other creatures spread and take them all up

-when you first start in space, they make you do about 5 missions to start things off. they give you 1 colony to place at that planet. however instead of using it where they want, scout around for a system that has like four (blue/green/pink) any of those combo spice planets. and even more so, ones that have the bulk of them on the green orbit.
place your free colony on one of them. then head home for next mission.

-chose to do expand mission, and teraform. instead of using them on the planet they want, bring the free tool and supplies to your new system and use it on any green orbit 0T planet.
return for new supplies, since not using it on the right planet they give you another try.

repeat the green orbit 0T teraforming as many times as you want, then finally to finish the mission do it to the real mission planet.

what i do also:
once i get my first other planet or 2 supplying me spices, i sell of every building of all 10 cities on the home planet for some small fast early game cash.
since the home planet spice producing rate SUCKS ASS. no exaggeration, 20 times slower then the same red spice on another planet with 3 colonies.
and its not even worth defending home planet anyway, as you cant lose lol. its a waste of time and effort, only usefull to earn you tiny cash in that first half hour of game.

Thank you bisjac, Now im gonna start a new game and do that ;D

Great game :D "Finished It" i mean i got to the *spoiler* and i got the meaning of life XD after that theres nothing more to do but it makes a great sandbox when you have all the tools collected and all the updates :D

i play the entire game with only the useless home system, and my one other one with 4-5 good planets,
taking care of a huge network of crappy colonies is waste of time. i only slap a few together later on to get the missions moving.

Just found this on Spore, Going to colonise it.
