At first he didn't have smoothed off edges but after I experimented I really liked how it looked so I just did the whole thing. This is for a mini minecraft short I'm doing for halloween, I have another longer one going although I might use this character for it as well. (I didn't make the skin though.)

You take a simple, square and pixelated character model, and make it detailed (referring mostly to the face)

Keep in mind the face rig isn't fully done yet, and the sash might overlap with the body at some angles. Make sure you have blender 2.57+
