Why beets?
The vanilla textures don't look very good imo, and most of the resource packs I use nowadays are just little modular things.
Does anyone know if Silverfish spawn eggs are signs of a dungeon? I heard zombie noises and accidentally found some silverfish coming out of the stone. Don't those only appear near or in dungeons or are they used as distractions somewhere else?
They spawn randomly underground in some biomes, mostly extreme hills iirc.

Strongholds and Extreme Hills.

they are found in strongholds and igloos, as well as rarely in extreme hills biomes.

also a good resource pack is Pixel Perfection

Anyone up for some technic survival? I have the urge to build a hugeass city in Minecrash just for fun.

I made a pack that makes the UI clean and slight modifications to the default texture. Iunno but I like the UI this way.

Did you use farm blocks for a path?

You can right click with shovels on grass to create a path now, actually.

christ those bricks made it look like you were playing tfc for a second

strange, updated java for something and then MC no longer wanted to launch with 8GB, saying it exceeded the max possible
so I proceed to lower it to 4GB, still too large, then 2GB, unable to allocate that much memory, and only works with 1GB

then proceed to install the JDK and scrap whatever version of java it made me update to before, and now everything is fine with 8GB
these are some shenanigans

something about the inventory makes me think it looks a bit washed out
like the grays are too similar or something
or maybe it's just the squareness of it

then again, i'm kind of used to faithful at this point

Sounds like you updated to a 32bit version of Java.

isn't the 32bit limit 4GB?

It varies from operating system it seems.

Though from what it appears, Windows with the 32bit java will be limited to 1.4gb-1.6gb

I think the squareness is fine but I agree that it's too washed out at this point. What I did is just remove the darker tones so that it non longer looks like an indent.
At most to make a change I'll try to make the spaces push out.

Hm. Well this is something.

something irks me about the inventory slots looking like they're jutting out rather than in
