Minecraft Megathread; yeah its update 1.12 big whoop what about it

it was really more of a feature than a bug

having one cart latch onto another as it passed to give it a burst of speed before releasing it sort of makes sense if you don't think about it too hard, like the booster cart had imaginary jets or some stuff and worked like the rockets on a space shuttle

I dunno, I'm not too mad they "fixed" it (I rarely use minecarts anyway) but I thought it was cool

so I'm going into thaumcraft pretty much blind, only having played with the earlier version of the mod a little and seeing the preview videos in the mod thread

having a good time so far, got a nice pile of amber and just found a pair of greatwood trees and a silverwood, the latter is hella pretty

Guys, get condensed blocks mod for 1.4.5, it's so useful when it's used with treecapitator. Never had this much wood before.

So from what I've read, you want a place where you enter doors for certain things to replace the main menu?
I think what would make this more appealing is that if you can design this main menu hub thing like creative mode. But even then, this should only be a mod and not something default.

I think what you're saying is this should be like that Blockland Hub Add-On, right?

honestly? if you want a workaround, download the Technic launcher and select vanilla under the modpack, it allows you to select the amount of memory you have if you have 64 bit OS Java.
