I actually took that picture a while ago.

First I tried to just go for it and put most my stuff in a chest in the near by cave.

I died.

Then I got my one block of TNT and tried to go down there and blow it up.

I died.

I went back down and dug underneath, killed the spawner, then dug more holes to kill the spiders from below.

I got like 7 iron, 4 wheat, a bunch of string, 2 buckets, and 1 redstone.

Then I died. D:
