If I redownload another client, will the sounds work again?

Go to C:\Users\X\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft or it's equal on xp and delete the bin and resource files, Then run mincraft.

I'll redownload another client. If it doesn't work, I'll try this.
EDIT: Didn't work. I don't know where the AppData stuff is, so I'll just play with no sound. Maybe I will have sound in the update.
