Notice how big actual biomes are, notice how the new biomes are roughly 100m².

Notch said on twitter that he was going to code them tomorrow.  I quoted it a few pages back.  Last minute cramming =/= not going to be in the update.  Notch so far has been pretty good with last minute cramming.
