Just start your server, then go to www.whatsmyip.org , then copy and paste it here.

www.whatsmyip.org will tell you the IP address others use to connect to your server.

ah but I'm not sure my network could handle a Minecraft server.
Plus everyone on it would hate me. I'd much rather just LAN with a brother or two.  Speaking of which, it's been a while since I've played SMP, is it hack-proof yet?
