In Survival, there's also crafting, mining, exploring, fighting monsters, making huge structures, finding new resources, defending your home, traveling to other dimensions and more. Not to mention mods, which can add new gamemodes or creatures or worlds or or or or BOOM

since they only spawn in random generated places.

I have old saves where slimes used to spawn all the time, no more slimes have appeared for a long time.
Notch had to remove them because of a bug with their size difference when spawning.  They are no longer possible to find in-game without modifications.

What should I make.
Just a plain boring castle?
