Minecraft Megathread; yeah its update 1.12 big whoop what about it

That's stupid.

Why? I'm using Industrial Craft, so I can't use any un-updated worlds. I have a nice texture pack that I've completely gotten used to, and the update breaks all my minecart tracks because there's no parallel boosters any more.

Frankly, updating the game would be hugely disappointing.

Also, I don't play online, so that helps.

This would be an oppertune time to interject a "nou" statement based upon my perception of your posts prior to this.
Also, I use default texture pack because I am fed up with waiting for the pack I like to update from 1.4

I use my own pack, I just have to copy over the new icons if necessary.

I'm keeping my copy of Beta 1.5_01, just in case 1.6_4 is still broken as hell.

Aside from random lag spasms, my experience with 1.6_4 has been quite stable.
The grass is a nice touch and I am glad I don't have to go through the hassle of installing wildgrass.
