But some people whine about losing a few FPS that will be fixed by a future update they're too impatient to wait for or the Optifine mod once it's updated to 1.8.

It's not a few FPS. It's like, my entire performance. I was running 1.7.3 at max settings farthest view settings, but now I'm getting a LOT of lag spikes to the point where it's UNPLAYABLE.
It's not loving ten less fps you moron, maybe if you read my posts correctly you're realize that.

Well let me know when you're done refining and fixing code so you can have +10 fps so you can plant your wheat faster or whatever having more fps does.

And people like you whining and complaining about it doesn't exactly raise the moral of the people working at Mojang either.

Just wait for 1.8.1 or whatever update they will release fixing the FPS because they have done things like that before and they will do it again.

What do you mean it doesn't exactly raise the moral of people at Mojang? They're not reading this. I'm not bitching and whining at them. The first post I made about this was a question why it was happening, not me throwing a hissy fit because I don't get godly amounts of FPS.

Speaking of glowstone, I set up a nether portal in my 1.8 world and went to the nether and in 1 trip got enough glowstone dust to make 69 glowstone blocks. B)
