I don't see why people would want a system like Add-Ons, but with the possibility of many of them being themed the same, causing fights over which of the type is better. But since Notch supports texture packs, I can't complain too much. Just my opinion.

Phew, on my way home again. Finished most of the nether stuff, which includes two new hostile mobs (one is the retexturing attempt)

Two new Nether mobs, Nether structures.

I don't want an Add-On system because people will make 5000 of the same thing of mostly terrible quality and feel uppity from their small group of supporters, causing negativity and such. I can't explain while I haven't slept yet. 5:19 PM, didn't sleep last night, so don't criticize my text written on a sleepy mind.

He has to get it in early so it doesn't seem like a cheap addition to a finished game. "Why are you complaining about Snow Golems? They've been in the game since Beta!"

I'm pretty sure it's just going to update to 1.8.2, just a few bug fixes and all.

No one knows what version it will be, what will be included. They kept tweeting about different content being done, and that there might be an update tomorrow, and people started making connections without proof. Besides that, whatever update is coming next shouldn't break anything unless they made it terribly.
