I'm making a short puzzle map for my friend and I need some good riddles and tricks because I'm running out of ideas.

Things that I've already included:
-Getting flint and steel from a gravel block
-Hiding a chest behind fire
-Hiding chests
-making a block out of four bricks
-converting a log to four blocks, making a bridge

I need something new, but similar to that. I need things that make you think for a moment.

Using a minecart to ride through a 1x1 hole?
Wooden pressure plates are powered by dropped items, stone pressure plates are not.
