I've noticed something: everyone who built a subscriber base on youtube from Minecraft unironically sucks at video games.
Most of them are even bad at Minecraft. Hell, Yogscast even got their own mediocre game and they're probably mediocre at it themselves.

Because people tend to find fantastic failure and people screwing up and laughing about it more entertaining.

Almost everyone. Potatoorgy is pretty decent at videogames, while jesse cox sucks at games and didn't get all his subscribers from minecraft.

I unsubscribed from them because they were doing stuff just to get more views, it wasn't really entertaining. Yeah, sure, you can do it for the money, but make sure your content isn't just a bunch of stuff. It seemed like lewis was having an especially hard time not being bland.
